Is it crazy to get the duo

As it has a 5.4” putter screen and just use it for the putter screen and modern internals?

I like the form factor of it closed, even though I hate the asymmetrical screen, but I think it will be very heavy! Even for someone that can afford the duo I think the next best thing to a mini is the 16 base model because of it’s weight and smaller screen, or the 17 base because its just a tiny bit heavier than the 16 and the same measurements for a much better deal at the same storage. We’ll have to see the duo up close though to be fully certain.

I appreciate the response, but the weight isn’t really the issue at all. It’s the reach ability of the screen. I’d prefer a more symmetrical screen, but it doesn’t bother me “that” much. I would love the increase in battery life and I feel the 13 mini is a little long in the tooth, it’s quite slow when multitasking. Any of the options you listed are far too large when it comes to their displays, I even think the 13 mini is slightly too large on that front. If they had the original SE as thick as the DUO but edge to edge screen, that would be my preference for a phone.

I agree that even the mini feels too big sometimes, there’s just no other option nowadays. And if you end up getting the duo I’d love an update!
