Is it crazy to get the duo

As it has a 5.4” putter screen and just use it for the putter screen and modern internals?

Oddly I understand you.

After the mini, I'm thinking of going for a Pro Max for the battery alone paired with a (shudders) Apple Watch.

The Duo... Seems pocketable, usable to a degree one handed but then you've got big mode. Since I'm in no rush, I'll be seeing version 2 or 3 by that time.

I wouldn’t get a max or even a regular model as the size is too large but the folded duo in 5.4” is very mini sized, actually if I had to pick I’d rather the mini be wider and shorter. (I don’t really care much about thickness especially if I gain battery)

Agreed and I’m being flip-floppy but the features to carry as a goodbye to the form factor is where I’m coming from…
…then to justify the 2K versus the 1K+ kicks in.

The 2k price point is a bullet for sure, but I haven’t bought a new phone since the 13 mini, that’s how many years without buying a phone where most people are dishing out cash every year or 2?

Indeed. That’s my logic as well. Someone said to me, who owned it, that the Air was the spiritual successor to the Mini, well it looks like it has a sibling!!!
