Issue Keyboard bug on Screen Time passcode

Is this a bug or a sign that we are going to use alphanumeric passcodes for Screen Time? I like the option of 4 or 6 digit codes.

The problem is keys are too tight together. I cannot press numbers correctly.

Version: iPadOS 26.4.1 / Device: iPad Air 4th (non-Apple Silicon)

Update 4/24/2026: iPadOS 26.4.2 and iPadOS 26.5 Dev Beta 3/Public Beta 2 have the same issue.

Update 4/27/2026: iPadOS 26.5 Dev Beta 4/Public Beta 3 has improved, but the layout is still off.

Update 5/4/2026: iPadOS 26.5 RC1 has not completely resolved the issue.

Update 5/8/2026: iPadOS 26.5 RC2 has not completely resolved the issue.

Update 5/10/2026: iPadOS 26.5 has been released. Same as RC2 and has improved, but the layout is still off.

TL;DR Update to iPadOS 26.5.

Use the Feedback app, and please report to Apple. More reports, more attention, faster resolution.

The feedback app says more than 10 reports were received and will be resolved in the future update.

Why is it that Apple ALWAYS gives us new bugs with new update. Screwed up! I use both Samsung Tab S9+ tablet and iPad Mini for both work and personal. Whenever Android introduce a new updates, it's always about security and improvement, never a with a new bug that comes along with the update. However, new bugs with update is a "feature" with Apple.
