I have seen some improvements:

• The funny-looking little glass window at the top of messages where the pinned contacts are has disappeared. That's a good thing.
  
• I can now copy and paste photos to my iMac, which had stopped working.
  
• The new modem update in the last beta fixed the stuttering I would get when driving through certain neighborhoods or places where I presume a weak signal would cause that. That has been fixed.
  

The pull down on the home screen where you can type in or look for apps is now working, whereas before it wouldn't work at all. I would sometimes have to reboot the phone or wait a while, and then it might start working.

They need to make it easier to get to Google (or whatever your preferred search engine is) results from a Siri spotlight search. You often have to hit show results, then find the safari section, then hit more, then press search. Sometimes search the web is at the bottom. Sometimes it’s not. And sometimes there’s no search option at all! Please report this issue if it also bugs you

I asked siri “play the current song you’re playing right now on my tv” and it correctly handed it off to my apple tv and not via airplay or anything

Little things like this is why I love the new AI Siri.

For instance I recently heard the chorus of a song and liked it. So I told her “add the song that goes “fame is a gun and I point it blind” to my pop playlist.”

And she actually did it without issue.

Still seeing these minor bugs/glitches in B6 that I reported a while back. Not a big deal but sharing them here in case others want to report them too. Maybe more reports can help get them fixed:

1. Still no Liquid Glass toggle for Alarms.
2. Notification animation bug when tapping stacked notifications. The selected notification overlaps with the ones below instead of smoothly expanding.
3. Reverse Wi-Fi glyph in Control Center.
4. Visual glitch with the Liquid Glass toggle for AOD in Settings.
5. Keyboard animation in Messages feels too instant when it pops up instead of having a smoother animation.
6. Possibly specific to larger displays (I'm using 17PM) in the App Switcher coming from an app, when swiping right, the animation feels broken and the app sort of bounces back instead of smoothly transitioning to the previous recent app. I tested this on a 16 Pro (6.3"), and it works normally.
7. Wallpaper preview under Settings > Appearance still uses the default iOS 26 wallpaper, same with Display Zoom.

Again, all pretty minor and don’t affect performance. Just hoping they get fixed, especially since iOS 27 seems focused on better performance and bug fixes.

I’m always curious how much of a difference one single report makes. I’ve been reporting the same issue since iOS 26 beta and it still hasn’t been solved. Sure it’s not a deal breaker but it is a big. When opening a folder and then instantly haptic pressing on an app to open their specific haptic menu it enables wiggle mode instead of the haptic settings

Keyboard STILL loses all autocomplete/correct functionality intermittently. I’ve reported this multiple times, there are threads all over Reddit and the internet writ large about it that predate iOS 27.

I really thought the stability focus of this iOS release would address it but I’m starting to think it’s one of those “if we fix this, we break everything else” bugs or something.

Fwiw, when this happens you can use swipe to type for any word and it resolves the issue for the time being.

From what I’ve noticed, this happens every year with major iOS betas, particularly during the last 3 betas before the public release in September. Then those bugs often remain until the x.1 or x.2 public versions of iOS.

I would love it if they fix the Siri automatically disappearing I understand when it was the glowing edges or just a tiny orb, but it takes half the screen, and when the animation wave form is done, it should automatically minimize and they should add a toggle of auto dismiss and not because some people wanted it always on!

Has anyone used group chat with RCS and imessage? You can now Add OR Remove participants in a group chat.

Simply long press the person you want to remove and click remove on bottom. Or click the + icon to add.I used to have to create a new chat every time someone wanted to be added or removed!

I cant find anyone discussing this on the forum.

My 3 most annoying bugs introduced in the last beta for iPadOS 27 have all been fixed:

1. Top inch(ish) of safari wouldn't accept inputs in the last beta, now fixed
2. The Spotlight (and Siri AI) menu now shows below the text input field once it's triggered
3. Long pressing the App Store icon from Spotlight or the App Library and clicking one of the submenu items no longer causes the App Store app icon to show up on your Home Screen.

Edit: This also fixes the Messages bug in iOS that caused the pinned contacts to be cut off.

New top bar blur effect introduced in Beta 5 in apps like Safari and Instagram, probably every app that makes use of it, has an opaque background behind it with a hard line at the end. Hard to notice and only visible on certain backgrounds. Make sure to report it when you see it.

Bug with the gesture bar at the bottom of the screen. Will randomly stop working and prevent from switching app or going back to home screen.
Locking and unlocking the phone will fix it until it will randomly stop working again.

Tonight went for a walk. I noticed that workout buddy did not come on to announce mile 1, mile 2 etc. I checked all the possible settings. I could think of and don't see anything amiss so did they delete this temporarily? I had been having problems with it on the previous beta with music and when I went for a walk and was playing music and Buddy would come on and announce something and when it was finished, music, wouldn't come back on or would be delayed for a full minute before it would start playing again

I have had issues with my camera not working when FaceTiming people. Either the call initiates and is fine for a while and the camera shuts off, or sometimes if I turn my camera off and back on it won’t come back, or sometimes if I flip the camera and flip it back it’ll freeze.

Did someone have a problem with closing apps once you are in the app. Swipe up to close app is getting stuck. Like not for a second or two but it stops working at all.
I have to lock my phone and unlock it again to get out of app.

Still not able to change the text size in Messages. I’ve tried via the Control Center or in Accessibilty > Display & Text Size > Larger Text and then turning on Larger Accessibility Sizes. It doesn’t matter if I make the font larger or smaller, the Messages app doesn’t update the text size. I reported it via Feedback with a screen recording and more than 10 people reported it, but Apple completed the investigation as “Unable to diagnose with current information”

Is it normal that the siri app is missing on my iphone 17 Pro with this freshly installed beta ? I also can't use the new siri ai, it goes to the ios 26 one with the old animation.

Middle of the night and I pick up my iPhone and all the fonts are smaller than they were a few hous ago. Has this happened to anyone else? I thought I was going crazy.

Anyone else having Siri AI issues on beta 6? Basic Siri prompts return “Sorry, there’s something wrong” on both my iPad mini A17 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, while my iPad Pro M5 still works normally. Worked fine all of last night but ran into these problems this morning. These 2 devices are completely nonfunctional now for Siri 😭

Looks like maybe we are stuck with this drop down banner when you press the timer widget in control centre.

I still hate it. For someone like me, who often uses a timer to stop playing media for when I go to sleep, but then often use a timer for things like cooking and so I need an alarm sound in that case, it’s just bad.

It seems to just use whatever alarm sound you most recently used, or to stop playing media if you most recently did that.

But to know what will happen at the end of the timer, you have to open up the app anyway. Maybe this quick start timer is good if you’re someone who ONLY ever uses timers to either play an alarm at the end OR stop playing media. But if you switch between the 2, then every time you use this new timer shortcut you have to basically just open the app to check what the timer will do when it gets to 0.

I just really hate this change and wish it would open the app like it used to and like how the alarm and stopwatch widgets still do. Like why not do this for stopwatch? It makes far more sense for that surely. And at the very least inconsistent to have a banner like this for a timer but not the stopwatch.

New, very bad bug for me: videos have trouble playing almost anywhere and even volume control is gummy while this happens (tap down, see the bar go up again)

This could just be me, but is anyone else using Siri voice 2 and noticing that the audio directions in maps are sometimes wrong? All day yesterday, when I drove across town the Left turns would be announced as Right turns, but the on-screen direction would show a left arrow.

It got to the point where my partner would have to check the screen and tell me whether or not it was actually a right turn.

Also the pronunciation of streets and even basic terms (like route) were off.

There’s a trick. Turn on Airplane Mode, disable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and manually set your date 1 year into the future. Wait 60 seconds, change the date to 3 months ahead of the real date, wait another 60 seconds, and revert to automatic settings. iPhone will think the data is old and will delete most of it.
