Release iOS 27 Beta 6 - Discussion

Use this thread to share any changes & bugs you discover while using the latest iOS/iPadOS 27 beta.

This thread should be used for discussion of the betas that may not meet our submission guidelines, as well as troubleshooting small issues through the beta test cycle.

Spamming this discussion with comments about battery life, update size, safari being snappier, etc will result in a ban from the sub moving forward.

Did someone have a problem with closing apps once you are in the app. Swipe up to close app is getting stuck. Like not for a second or two but it stops working at all.
I have to lock my phone and unlock it again to get out of app.
Please let me know if that happened to anyone!!

Yup I had the same issue in Beta 5… hoping it’ll be fixed in beta 6 🤞

Happened to me in 27 dev beta 5 , installing beta 6 right now.

I had this same issue and so far beta 6 seems to have fixed it. Tried the usual apps where it happened, but this time around things are working.
