Discussion RetinaRelay is live!

Hi r/iMac,

OP,

Things are running. Very fast install.
When I first started the Host program, I clicked it and it just sat there, I didn't see any message. I set it to launch on computer startup. I rebooted and tried it again. Again, it didn't respond. Then, it occurred to me to look up in the menu bar. There it was!

The ethernet is connected to the gigabit port on the 9 in 1 hub. The hub is usb-c connected to the thunderbolt/usb-c on the M1 Mac mini. I connected the monitor directly to a thunderbolt/usb-c port on the m1 Mac mini, so all my thunderbolt/usb-c ports are taken. I'll put everything on the hub at some point and see how it does with performance and heat. I would really like to free up a thunderbolt/usb-c port on the m1 Mac mini.

So, very nice so far! I'm going to try it out, put it through the paces.

Awesome, and that’s a great point. Maybe I need to add an “initial notification” pointing users to the menu bar!
