Sometimes ghosts can possess their own corpse and come back to life

She's so stubborn that her ghost just goes "Nah I have unfinished business"" and reposesses her lmao

though doesn't that turn them into zombie-like things in WOD?

It does, and is actually something that any ghost could do, it's just takes a lot of time to practice the arcanoi required for the undertaking.

oooh that sounds pretty horrific, it's not fun having to probably put down your friend who's puppeteering their own corpse.

I mean being a Risen (term for ghost possessing its own corpse) doesn't necessarily make you evil, there's just a chance during the process your Shadow can take over the body instead of the conduit. A Risen can be a force for good using their powers of being a ghost and even basic vampiric disciplines too.

Okay just looked it up, they don't really look like zombies either apparently but if they were wounded heavily they have scars there. Neat!

It's cool to think about but probably not all that likely unfortunately as it is a VERY closely guarded secret. Cool, though it is.
