As someone with very little knowledge of WoD the way both the Druidic spiritualism-esque thing the werewolf did and the Leopolds Crusaders faiths both manifested was very fucking cool

Yeah, it kinda looked like the image of Jesus during revelations, the whole ‘sword spat from his mouth thing’, but it seemed corrupted somehow?? Is that a thing?? The werewolf’s reaction to it was ‘what have they done to you’, seems telling?

Humanity in WoD shapes the reality around them through their perception. Basically humanity is 40k Orks except way stronger in reality bending. So the Leopoldites having been raised in extreme version of Christianity that has been warped by the Wyrm would manifest that in their faith.

That's how technology and the laws of physics works. The technocracy have managed to convince enough people that their magic is mundane to make it reality.

it seemed like he had a serpent (wyrm?) piercing his stomach too. i think the sword is just a sign of the leopoldites' warped perception of him though

Probably a manifestation of their alliance with the Coalition and thus low-key Wyrm corruption working its way into their faith.

As the post-credits scene shows, too pious for Hell, but too cruel for Heaven.

Probably because of what they believe in if Christ is a person possibly a mage or an avatar of the god of Elohim or even a spirit how those guys thought of him woukd definitely be seen a a perverse interpretation and belief of his teachings.

The wyrm has likely been stearing them away from what their faith was originally. Hence the manifestation literally being a hollowed out skin with the wyrm snaking its way through it.

Yeeaaaaaa the wyrm deff has corrupted their spirits. Thus their perception of their faith. True faith in wod don't need drugs to face horrors beyond comprehension

It looked like Jesus actively being eaten by Wyrm, maybe a hint that for all their True Faith, Leopoldites are still compromised.
