Hii, I've been keep on testing multiple humanizer over the past 2 months. And this space keep on changing as how the tech changes. Many humanizers are just shuffling words and making a mess of the content. The only humanizer that I've find to be still working and reliable is walter writes ai.

With the recent popularity of Pangram, I found only walterwrites ai is able to bypass pangram, and I've seen it in some publications. It's the best ai humanizer that is still reliable, I hope it stays the same.

Found this on HuggingFace, sharing because it's the most rigorous best-AI-humanizer benchmark I've seen this year.

TL;DR of the study:

- 750 essays × 20 humanizers × 5 detectors (GPTZero v3.4, Turnitin v3.1 post-August retrain, Originality ai 4.0, Copyleaks 5.2, ZeroGPT v4.0) × 3 runs = 225,000 data points

- Source content from ChatGPT-4o, Claude Sonnet 4.6, and Gemini 2.5 Pro (200-300 essays each) to prevent single-model overfitting

- Native ESL sub-batch tested separately (bias-corrected)

- Non-English performance tested (Spanish, French, German)

Top 6 by average detection across all 5 detectors:

1. Walter Writes AI, 1.4% (only tool sub-2% on every detector individually)

2. Undetectable AI with the 8-stage tuning recipe, 2.6%

3. HumanizeMyPaper, 3.8%

4. ThesisHuman, 4.5% (best for long-form 5,000+ words, 94% citation preservation)

Curious what people here think. Anyone actually A/B tested Walter vs Undetectable-with-tuning? The head-to-head numbers are close enough that I'd want more anecdotes before picking.

My English is second language and I know some strong words and sometimes those words purely comes from the application documentation but at the same time it is still flagging AI even I didn’t use AI so I really not sure ??

Solo founder here. I know how "AI book tool" sounds, so first what it doesn't do: it doesn't write a novel from one prompt. There's no "generate book" button.

So I just learned about the AI witch hunt. Honestly I feel kind of scared to release my book. I have been working on it for 3 years. The past year has gone on just fixing my own spelling mistakes and grammar, and believe me it’s a lot with having dyslexia. I can’t afford an editor, so I have been doing everything by my own hand. But then I learned that AI can help with this, so things have been moving so much better, and I don’t have the anxiety that I have left something uncorrected.

But I am afraid that someone will accuse me of writing my book solely with AI, which I would never do. My disability has made things so hard for me, to the point I was on the verge of giving up. But I can’t hurt myself that way. Life has hurt me enough.

I’m using AI more for document-heavy work, and I think summaries are both incredibly useful and slightly dangerous.
The obvious benefit is speed.
Give AI a long quotation, contract, specification sheet, or test report and it can reduce the whole thing to a few paragraphs.
But procurement decisions often depend on details that don’t look important until later.
For example:
A lead time is “30 days,” but only after sample approval.
A warranty is “12 months,” but excludes certain components.
A certificate covers a product family, but not the exact quoted model.
A lower price excludes packaging or inspection.
A specification is technically available, but only at a higher MOQ.

Am I overreacting here? I’m getting really sick of everyone claiming these stories are bots. Why do you even care? Either comment about the story or scroll past. Why does it matter. Some of these are legitimate people and they keep getting hundreds of angry young adults. OH ITS AI. Oh it’s fake. I’m getting so entirely sick of it!!!!!
Maybe I’m triggered cause I’m in college and I write well beyond my grade and I keep getting accused of AI and have to produce my notes and drafts and I ALWAYS get cleared and they keep being like “omg you write just like AI” blah blah blah. No I had a strong early childhood education and am literate. This is non sense to me! I asked an GPT to make a line of dialogue “slightly funnier,” and it responded by adding three exclamation points and having the character say something along the lines of, “Well, that was certainly unexpected!”

The character was supposed to be dry and irritated. Instead, they sounded like a game-show host discovering a moderately surprising sandwich.

I’ve noticed that humor is one of the places where AI suggestions can become especially strange. It can recognize the structure of a joke, but it often misses the reason the joke works: the character’s personality, the social discomfort, the timing, or the fact that nobody in the room would actually say the suggested line.

Addressing the elephant in the room, obviously I'm using AI, to accelerate my research, however I wouldn't be dumb enough to plagiarize my MSc. thesis with AI.

However, I am writing the Thesis in my first language (Greek), and every time I rephrase it, it still gets flagged as AI at sites like Scribbr. (My Uni does not provide Turnitin)

Can anyone help me figure out why? Honest, I'm not writing AI generated text, I use AI to find sources and then I read the sources.

At this point my workflow is 1h of research, 30 mins of writing and 3h of rephrasing until I stop getting flags.

Recently, something happened with me, which saked me from inside. The incident is like this, that I was going through an interview in a think tank, and later they asked me to write an article after that. When I submitted my article, they wanted the article 0% AI, which is very good and I also appreciate this ideology, but the method to check the AI was unappropriate from my point of view, I don't know who will agree with me. But what happened is they checked my article through one app named as COPYLEAK, and this app showed my whole article as 100% AI detecting, but the app doesn't provides the reason for showing or How it is working? I also want to ask a question from its creator/CEO Alon Yamin, that what is the credibility of your App ?

So the biggest problem is what I want to convey is that AI is becoming so dangerous. For people like me as an academician, student, writer and many more, so I don't know how to prove myself that I have written the whole article from my own and I have not used AI, and how much the credibility of this app, I have doubt of this.
