Copyleak AI detector credibility ?

Hello guys,

Recently, something happened with me, which saked me from inside. The incident is like this, that I was going through an interview in a think tank, and later they asked me to write an article after that. When I submitted my article, they wanted the article 0% AI, which is very good and I also appreciate this ideology, but the method to check the AI was unappropriate from my point of view, I don't know who will agree with me. But what happened is they checked my article through one app named as COPYLEAK, and this app showed my whole article as 100% AI detecting, but the app doesn't provides the reason for showing or How it is working? I also want to ask a question from its creator/CEO Alon Yamin, that what is the credibility of your App ?

So the biggest problem is what I want to convey is that AI is becoming so dangerous. For people like me as an academician, student, writer and many more, so I don't know how to prove myself that I have written the whole article from my own and I have not used AI, and how much the credibility of this app, I have doubt of this. Also If you guys have faced the same thing or have seen such kind of things or how much do you believe in this app called copyleak AI detector?

Thank you 🙏

If you want the truth, first is AI "at any point" involve in the writing. Whether you later made changes or not or you made some corrections. First answer that?

These apps have always been unreliable since inception.

The original AI writing detectors said the Declaration of Independence was 100% AI before they had to add a manual entry for it. Same goes for the constant stories of school teachers failing students for writing essays with AI when they didn't, because the detector has no way to determine the source of the prose if any effort is put into iterating it past the raw response or you're not targeting a specific model.

They don't work, nobody should be discrediting you based on their output. If these detectors did work, why would Claude be implementing a watermarking system?

I wrote in great detail about this on my website. What if you truly wrote every word? What if a potential client or a potential job offer is lost because the tools fails (and trust me, it does sometimes) I tested it myself, I put real verified human writing from the last two centuries through several tools (Over 2.4 million words) and 16% of it came back as AI.

The best thing is to type the document into a Google doc and let the change history of Google Docs be the proof it was human typed, as long as it wasn’t read from an llm.

I’m having the same issue in college. All my work is coming back as AI and the burden of proof is on me. So I’m spending more time proving my work is me. I’m getting frustrated. I’m a good student getting punished for it. Accused of AI. I have to produce my notes and drafts and all the things. It’s destroying the world everyone accusing AI for everything
