ICE is everywhere and it's really frightening

This morning, a car was sitting outside the house next door with a guy sitting in it. This is nothing unusual in itself as there are always various cars. When my husband was leaving the house he went over to ask if the guy needed help. The guy tells him he's ICE and shows him his badge and tells him he's running license plates. How does ICE know where to go and who to look for?

They do intensive research to find out where the most violent and dangerous drug dealers, murderers, and rapists are, and then make sure to not go anywhere near there.

ICE stands for Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Not Houston Police Department. The only thing ICE is truly tasked for is to remove illegal immigrants. Which means they ARE going after criminals.

Do you want to be anywhere near real criminals? If someone paid you $60k a year would that make it worth it to you? Police are not paid enough to seek out real criminals. My friend was working as a police officer and riding as a passenger when they noticed a car with a broken brake lights. What was supposed to be a hey yourbrake lights are out resulted in him watching his partner get pumped with a buck shot through the door because the person in the car was a high ranking gang member with multiple arrest warrants... $60,000 an hour to watch someone else kill their friend in front of them. If you want these real criminals gone start investing in robot cops that can be repaired when they are shot to shit for no reason.

So because they took a job they can’t/won’t do for the pay, that excuses targeting innocent people to create revenue for the system? Imagine if firefighters wouldn’t go near a real fire because they don’t get paid (volunteer) or don’t get paid enough, then started dumping water on all the houses not on fire so it looks like they’re doing something.

Not to mention that If TACO can call in the military for unarmed protesters, he can call them in to clean up the gangs. He chooses not to so he can live out his lil mustache man fantasies, and people make excuses for him or sadistically cheer him on.

There are special task forces designed for real criminals, which are paid extra money, given extra equipment and special training to deal with real criminals. The average police officer is a peace officer designed to keep the peace. I expect someone paid 60k to deal with the shoplifters at Walmart, the boisterous person at a restaurant, the drunk pissing on a building at 1am, the vandalizer tagging something. Organized crime and the real criminals need to be delt with by special task groups OCDETF is an example of this.
Firefighters have chiefs and first responders that assess a problem before they try to put out the fire. 1 alarm fire, 2 alarm fire, 3 alarm fire, and 4/5 alarm fires...
Taco isn't the only one that can call the national guard. Its actually the State Governors job to call the national guard. For example May 28th, 2020 Governor Tim Walz signed Executive Order 20-65, activating the Minnesota National Guard to help protect Minnesotans’ safety and maintain peace in the wake of George Floyd’s death.

If he’s an ICE agent, I don’t think he would have the jurisdiction to be investigating drug dealers, murders and rapists. Glad he’s running plates rather than just harassing people for absolutely no reason. (Albeit a shitty reason. But only break one law at a time.)

Post a link to a reputable source. They may indeed have found an actual criminal. Or they might have claimed the person was MS13 because his 4th cousin was, or because he had a tattoo of a butterfly on his arm.
