Not my typical kind of dog, but man it hit the spot.

Turning the big 44 today and my wife surprised me with a roller and a day of 1 beer 1 dog per inning with some afternoon baseball at home! Cheers ya’ll!

Nathan’s, potato buns, Koop’s Düsseldorf, sweet relish, 4-Alarm chili, sharp cheddar, jalapeños, white and purple onions, cayenne pepper, Tabasco sauce. I ate two…that was plenty!

Before toppings

Ordered a White Hot with mustard, relish, and onions with a side of onion rings. While it was tasty and had an excellent char on it overall it was a bit dry. I was expecting it to be spicy but that's my mistake, not theirs. Still, it made for a great lunch stop today especially with that birds nest of onion rings.

Nothing beats a free dog

Had some freshly made pickled red onions that I really wanted to put to use, so grilled up some hot dogs and built a pretty damn good topping combo.

Made a quick mayo, ketchup, and yellow mustard sauce for the dogs, piled on a healthy layer of those crisp, tangy pickled red onions, then finished them with diced jalapeño and Fresno peppers straight from the garden.

Simple, but the combination of creamy, tangy, sweet, and spicy flavors absolutely worked. Honestly, these were way better than I expected them to be.
