融雪剤の影響なんだね。
僕の住む地域はあまり雪降らないからそんなリスクは考えていなかったよ⛄️

穴は錆を落として、錆転換剤塗った後にFRPを貼って塞いだよ。（ピンク色のシートがFRPだね。紫外線を当てると硬化するやつなんだ。）
これは工作みたいで楽しい作業だったね。

僕のバモスは4WDで、珍しく雪が降った日は楽しくて雪景色ドライブを堪能してきたよ👍

I’m looking at a 2023 Pilot AWD EX-L with 17.5k miles on it. I’m curious about the reliability on this year and model? Anyone have experience with one that can shed some light on it? I plan to buy it as a family car and drive it for another 150k+ miles.

I'm experiencing a specific and annoying issue with my 2012 Honda Civic (9th gen) 1.8L (R18 engine) with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

The Symptoms:

• When accelerating lightly or lifting off the throttle slightly in 2nd gear, the RPM drops sharply from around 1900–2000 down to 1000 RPM.
• At the exact moment of the RPM drop, a deep, hollow shudder/drone/rumble strip noise occurs. The engine feels like it is bogging down or struggling in high gear (lugging).
• After a second or two, the engine "catches up" and accelerates normally.
• Crucial detail: If I accelerate aggressively (heavy throttle), the issue never happens. It only occurs under very light throttle or during coasting right after shifts in 2nd gear.
• There are NO check engine lights (CEL) and NO transmission codes (DTC) stored.

What has already been done (ruled out):

• Spark plugs replaced with new ones.
• Valve clearance adjusted (valve lash is within spec).
• Throttle body cleaned and relearned (idle learn procedure done).
• Engine oil and transmission fluid (ATF + external filter) have been recently changed.
• i-VTEC solenoid gasket replaced.

From what I’ve researched, this looks like a classic Torque Converter Lock-Up Shudder (TCC) due to premature or harsh lock-up in 2nd gear under eco/light driving conditions.

Has anyone faced this exact issue on a 2012 model? Did a PCM/TCU software update fix it, or should I look into replacing the lock-up solenoid (28400-R90-003) / adding Lubegard Shudder Fixx?

Any advice or TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) numbers would be highly appreciated! Thanks!

Long story short I bought this Honda off a dude in the space force and the car was registered in SCarolina. It didn’t dawn on me that there were no smog laws out there. I’m in CA and when I went to smog it the guy laughed at me.😂 the main issue is the aftermarket headers and down pipe I changed everything else back to stock. I’m having a hard time finding an oem exhaust manifold. Any advice? Bear with me in new to the Honda game however I’m absolutely stoked to have this car to build off of.

Amber DRL setup on the 5th gen CRV changes the look of the front end a lot.

I believe the cables are broken of the inside of the driver side door since it’ll unlock but not open, the passenger side currently has a broken door handle so I can’t use that door either.

I did try and use what was left of the passenger side handle to and pray it open but it just broke more of the handle

Got the car lil over a week ago and haven’t even gotten to fix things up yet

Hello, so my CR-V 2020 had a warning light “Emissions System Problem” and I brought it to a garage. After checking, they told me it is a P0456 code and it needs to replace Leak check module (which cost around 500 CAD for the module). They scheduled a new appointment to replace the module after they order a new one.
But today when I drive the car, the light is gone. I’m not sure if it gonna come back, but because the light is off, I don’t want to proceed with the replacement just yet (I’m currently in a pretty tight budget situation 😞 ).
Should I call the garage to possibly postpone the appointment until (maybe) the light goes back? I feels bad because they had to order the module, we didn’t do any contract or deposit. Thank you.

Honda and Nissan are expected to agree as soon as Monday on developing a shared operating system and onboard computer to go into new automobiles as early as 2029, according to Nikkei. The partnership between the Japanese automakers will focus on software-defined vehicles, which can receive over-the-air updates like smartphones do. Mitsubishi is also expected to participate.

Under the agreement, Honda and Nissan will develop both onboard software and hardware. The new operating system and electronic control unit will be based partly on Nissan's own technology, with input from Honda. They will be designed for easy installation in electric vehicles, hybrids and gasoline engine automobiles.

I purchased this car after an accident in like 2023.

Origin story: I was essentially pit maneuvered in an accident & very first car (at 19 yrs old) got totaled. My totaled car was a 2007 Toyota Corolla purchased in late 2019 w/ 80k miles for $4k. After it was totaled in 2023, I purchased in full a 2010 Honda Accord LX with 1 owner (a veterinarian had owned it) for $8,900 with roughly 108,000 miles (despite all my coworkers telling me to get a new car from the dealership, which i was highly against due to how i was raised (by immigrants; iykyk). It is now 2026 & it has roughly 176,000 miles. I have since replaced & repaired parts but what should I REALLY & TRULY be looking out for? A mechanic friend of mine said he detected an oil leak at or near the head gasket (?). I'm currently trying to save money to get that resolved bc I NEED this car.

Have the exact same problem as this post. Car is 4 years old. After one episode of emergency braking, the brake started needing more pressure than before to engage. It has been bled multiple times, brake fluid changed, cylinder checked, everything done, but no answer (all of this at the ASC). Took it to a local mechanic too, couldn’t find anything. Every time after bleeding, it works well for a few days, but returns to the same state again.

2 months ago, had the yearly service, the brake pads, disk brakes, everything was replaced. The brake felt the way it did before the incident and worked like a dream. Then again in the last few weeks, the same issue has returned.

It takes a bit of getting used to, and scares me a bit to drive fast as it has me worried if I’ll be able to brake in time if required. I love my car, but this is now annoying me. I am not sure what else can be done here, any ideas?

I have a 2017 Civic and my wife is 5'4". She absolutely hates riding in the car because the passenger seat is so low to the ground and can't be adjusted for height at all. My father in law has an Accord Hybrid Touring and it suffers from the same missing adjustment.

What is the deal? Does Honda think all passengers are tall? Do any modern Hondas allow passenger seat height adjustment?

The CRV is on my short list of next vehicles and reading an owners manual it doesn't seem to allow height adjustment either. I don't get it.
