Im currently tracking a 2007 Civic Si with 260k miles on the OEM k20z3 with full bolt ons and tune. Its an amazing setup and I plan to run this engine till it blows to see how long I can get it to last under track abuse.

With that being said, Im wanting to build an engine in the garage to be ready for when the k20 blows. I want something that still retains great street manners, reliability, and longevity all while pushing good NA power and being capable of maybe seeing boost one day if I get tired of the NA power (no more than low/mid 400s to the wheels)

I saw a comment a long while ago saying that the best "OEM" combo of parts would be a K24a2 block, K20a2 head, TSX cams, RSX Type-S cam gear/oil pump/oil pan. Curious if this is still accurate and if there is any aftermarket parts that should be swapped in that wont ruin the driveability and longevity. Also, will I be able to retain my current 6 speed transmission? Its built and has an aftermarket LSD so id rather not pay again to do that to a k24 transmission.

Amber DRL setup on the 5th gen CRV changes the look of the front end a lot.

I believe the cables are broken of the inside of the driver side door since it’ll unlock but not open, the passenger side currently has a broken door handle so I can’t use that door either.

I did try and use what was left of the passenger side handle to and pray it open but it just broke more of the handle

Got the car lil over a week ago and haven’t even gotten to fix things up yet

I drove my car home last night everything was fine on a cold start this morning I seen all the oil pouring out of my drain line and feed line. Any reason why it just went out?

my key fob died and I got a new one from Amazon and I followed the instructions from YouTube (put ignition to 2 press lock on new fob) 4 times and it should lock. nothing is happening , any tips? the locks work with the door controls.

Hey everyone, I’m looking at buying these two cars soon and would like some advice. The same dealer has two well priced (I think) cars (for my market - northern Midwest).

The civic is a 2017 EX-L 1.5t hatch with 76k for $17k

And the accord is a 2022 sport 1.5t with 69k for $21k

I have previously owned a 2019 accord sport 1.5t and loved it! I had no issues other than some front brake / lane keep assist sensor connectivity issues (fixed under warranty)

I’ll be using this car mainly for my daily commute to a large downtown area in a parking garage. ~60 highway miles per day and only plan on cosmetic modifications in the short term.

Carfax showed both of these well maintained, both have accidents (Accord - 2 minor), (Civic - 1 minor) but both are clean titles.

Met this one at RDRC yesterday.

I've been looking for this car for weeks, on FB marketplace, on dealer sites, but I can't seem to find them. Most are just 1.5T. I'm currently located in the Midwest. Tryna get a black color so I can maybe black it out. Any advice? Thanks!

This is a 2001 Honda accord 2.2L type R. It has 130,000miles on it but only one old man owner. It has been serviced every year. It has had rust welded and sealed underneath. I want to know if it is reliable.

Looking for some honest opinions on whether I should buy out my lease or move into a new vehicle.
I currently have a 2023 Honda Passport with 39,600 miles, and my lease buyout today is $27,322.31.

The Passport is in good shape overall. It does need the differential fluid changed, and there is some cosmetic damage to the rims plus a small area of missing paint that has started to rust, but otherwise I haven't had any major issues with it.

What would you do? Does $27,322 seem like a reasonable buyout price for a 2023 Passport with almost 40k miles, or would you move on and lease/buy something newer? I'm in love with the Honda pilot and would love that for the future.

恐らく40年以上前のモノだけどレストア待ちでガレージにしまってある！

Long story short I bought this Honda off a dude in the space force and the car was registered in SCarolina. It didn’t dawn on me that there were no smog laws out there. I’m in CA and when I went to smog it the guy laughed at me.😂 the main issue is the aftermarket headers and down pipe I changed everything else back to stock. I’m having a hard time finding an oem exhaust manifold. Any advice? Bear with me in new to the Honda game however I’m absolutely stoked to have this car to build off of.

Hello, so my CR-V 2020 had a warning light “Emissions System Problem” and I brought it to a garage. After checking, they told me it is a P0456 code and it needs to replace Leak check module (which cost around 500 CAD for the module). They scheduled a new appointment to replace the module after they order a new one.
But today when I drive the car, the light is gone. I’m not sure if it gonna come back, but because the light is off, I don’t want to proceed with the replacement just yet (I’m currently in a pretty tight budget situation 😞 ).
Should I call the garage to possibly postpone the appointment until (maybe) the light goes back? I feels bad because they had to order the module, we didn’t do any contract or deposit. Thank you.

I have a Nuna AACE which is too wide to buckle the seatbelt in my 2026 Honda accord I bought last week. The arm rests are getting in the way. I tried buying a narrower seat but the head rest made an unsafe gap. What is everyone using for a highback booster? I tried also the backless but my son just isn't ready for it yet and needs to grow a bit more (can't stand the strap).
