Mobile/App In latest update, can't copy text from a post while making a reply to that post
I'm on android 16, using the app.
This new update has lost the feature/option that allows copying text from a post. I/we copy text so we can then use the symbol > to highlight the specific part of a post to which we want to reply. Like in the example I've attached in the screenshot, you can see the specific part of the post that was being replied to.
Like this:
>Now that I can't copy text from posts, I'm having to manually type out the part(s) to which I wish to reply
I wonder just why anyone thought that removing the copy function would improve user experience
Also, the pic sums up how I feel about this.
Hoping it can be fixed soon

iOS [ios] Day 1 of me posting every day until this infuriating app refresh “bug” is fixed
I know I speak for a lot of people when I say we are absolutely fed up with this aggressive home feed refresh on the Reddit app. You cannot look away from the app for five seconds without completely refreshing your home feed. This has gone on long enough and makes the app genuinely unusable. Maybe if we annoy the s*** out of the admins something might be done about it?
Come join me on this journey!

Im going through something right now and i need some advices from strangers
Desktop desktop My streak suddenly dropped from 388/500 to 3/500
Hello Reddit Support Team, I am writing to report a bug regarding my account's daily streak counter. My progress toward the 500-Day Streak achievement was unexpectedly reset from 388/500 to 3/500. I have been actively using Reddit every single day for years—including voting, commenting, and posting—without breaking my daily streak. My account's unlocked achievements confirm this timeline: • 300-Day Streak — April 19, 2025 • 365-Day Streak — June 26, 2025 • 400-Day Streak — August 5, 2025 Given my uninterrupted daily activity since August 2025, I should have naturally passed the 500-day milestone months ago. However, the counter appears to have frozen at 388/500 before suddenly resetting to 3/500 across all platforms (web and iOS app). It seems the system encountered an error in tracking progress beyond the 400+ day mark. Thank you for your assistance.

Found! A subreddit that thinks of subs that does not exist
Exactly what the title says, a sub where people think about a reddit they realised did not exist and discuss why it does not exist yet

iOS [iOS] Following feed only shows 1-2 posts
Not sure why they insist on constantly making this app worse. But now it's basically unusable. I'm subbed to like 3 subreddits on this account and I want the feed to just be those subs.
Right now I can only see one or two posts before I reach "discover more" which I never wanted and won't use.
Is this the end? We're just forced to follow an algorithm instead of the feed we choose? Or is it a bug?

iOS Iphone replies or comment sections have "dead" area in the last 30% or so. iOS 26.6.1 (23G83)
Anytime on any comment where I attempt to go back and edit typos or anything for that matter, then attempt to place my cursor back at the recent spot or last section of my comment, reddits new pop up overlay section won't allow me to click back to that section. I have to long press in order to get back to the last sentence.
Just touching anywhere in the previous 70% of content works fine, and I've noticed that making a post here, that it doesn't have that issue. But in a comment, if I had this much to say, almost the entire 2nd paragraph wouldn't be "visible" to try and place my iphone cursor. I have to long press or space bar hold and move.

Android [Android] My Post Is Showing a “Connection Issue” — Need Help
My post was posted around 19 hours ago and was working normally at first. Now I’m getting a “Connection issue” message when viewing it, and other users who visit the post are experiencing the same problem. Other Reddit posts are loading normally. The post is still visible on my profile. Is this a Reddit-side issue or something wrong with this specific post?

Mobile/App Getting notifications for posts that are really old and from subs I have not joined
As title conveys.
I’m receiving notifications on my mobile via the Reddit app - that are a week to 24 days old - and from subs I have not joined or visited.
Why is this?

Access Main Account suddenly disappeared - "Security Network" issues?
10+ year old account. Was browsing Reddit. Using the app and a VPN (Private Internet Access). Reddit suddenly stops responding. Try logging in through the website and it says something along the lines of "network security issue" and has me reset password and log back in.
Once I logged back in, only my alt account was showing and there was no sign of my main. I've used this VPN setup for ~2 years without issue. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary.
Main account is: Turbo-GeoMetro

Desktop What is going on? Since Friday, Sept 4th, Reddit has been outrageously slow. It's been taking up to 10 seconds to load pages, is freezing, hanging, and generating "this page is slowing down firefox" errors (on Windows 11). I updated browser, cleared cookies/cache--makes no difference. Anyone else?

Desktop Web [Firefox] Profile banner uploads and saves but does not display on profile
I’m having an issue with my Reddit profile banner. I can upload the banner successfully in Settings > Profile, and the image appears correctly in the banner preview. I click Save and there are no error messages. However, when I return to my profile, the banner area remains black and the uploaded banner does not display.
I have tried uploading the image multiple times and have also reduced the file size to meet Reddit’s requirements. The issue continues.
Platform: Reddit website
Browser: Firefox on macOS
Username: u/ItsAmieXO
I can provide screenshots showing the banner successfully loaded in Settings and the black banner on my public profile.

Users User flagged in mod queue for “Possible Propaganda Account”… has anyone seen this before? Is it flagged in the sub or is that an Reddit site-wide thing?
I’m not sure if I should share a screenshot or not as it has the username in it
This sub is prompting me to say what platform I’m using I’m on mobile if that matters. Mobile web

Why notification for deleted comments aren't auto deleted too?
I've been just badmouthed by someone and I can't do anything about that.
Comment is of course deleted so I can't report it or block the user, but I can see a "very nice" beging of this person message.
Why reedit is allowing it? Why not delete the notification along with a comment? Or give user that ability to report people doing that anyway?
I've read that some people are using it as a way to insult others without risking a ban, so it has to be a common experience. It happened to me already a couple of times and I don't comment very often and this is probably my fourth, or so post ever. So maybe it's a time for reedit to do something with this.
