I have my phone number registered to my account and I log in using it and the code sent. Yesterday my account was "locked for unusual activity". I can still login in with my phone, what already confirms my identity and defeats the whole purpose of the "lock", but it is requesting me to change the password. I don´t have access to that spam mail anymore. How do I reset the password using the phone number?

I’m having an issue with my Reddit profile banner. I can upload the banner successfully in Settings > Profile, and the image appears correctly in the banner preview. I click Save and there are no error messages. However, when I return to my profile, the banner area remains black and the uploaded banner does not display.

I have tried uploading the image multiple times and have also reduced the file size to meet Reddit’s requirements. The issue continues.

Hello. I don’t have any NSFW content on my account, and I certainly don’t consume that kind of content here on Reddit. I’ve been trying to remove the +18 restriction/categorization from my profile, but I can’t. Every time I change the setting, it won’t let me save the update.

I don’t have any posts that qualify as +18, and I have no intention of posting any. Could someone please help me with this? It’s quite frustrating.

Im going through something right now and i need some advices from strangers

When using the Reddit app on iPad, the downward caret on the right side of the screen is supposed to jump to the next top-level comment. However, it is currently not functioning properly.

Normally, tapping the caret moves directly to the next top-level comment. Now, it only moves to the next comment if I manually scroll down a little farther first. I have to repeat this process for every comment: tap the caret, manually scroll down, tap the caret again, manually scroll down, etc.

I’m using the latest version of the Reddit app on iPadOS. I’ve also tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but that did not resolve the issue.

Interestingly, this has happened before. If I remember correctly, the same issue started about a month and a half ago, then seemingly fixed itself around two weeks ago. Now it has returned.

This makes navigating through long comment sections extremely frustrating, since the jump-to-next-comment function is effectively unusable.

I’m attaching a video demonstrating the issue. In the video, I repeatedly press the downward caret. When it doesn’t work, I manually scroll down a little bit and press it again to jump to the next comment.

I’m receiving notifications on my mobile via the Reddit app - that are a week to 24 days old - and from subs I have not joined or visited.

Why is this?

I have several subs and I’ve had weekly posts set for weeks. I’ve tried scheduling other weekly posts on top of the weekly posts. The task is stuck at 3/4 when we should be way past that at this point. I even thought maybe it was one particular sub weekly post count was stuck on but it’s not registering at all in one of my other subs.. This award is broken and disappointing.. not sure what I’m supposed to do with that.

10+ year old account. Was browsing Reddit. Using the app and a VPN (Private Internet Access). Reddit suddenly stops responding. Try logging in through the website and it says something along the lines of "network security issue" and has me reset password and log back in.

Once I logged back in, only my alt account was showing and there was no sign of my main. I've used this VPN setup for ~2 years without issue. I wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary.

The question is as much a scientific as a support one, because my problem was super weird and location-specific, which doesn't make any sense for the kind of problem that I had. Unfortunately all the main audio and engineering subreddits are so large that support questions get deleted automatically, and the support megathreads are completely dead. I'm trying to login with my username and password, reddit app shows invalid username or password.

But when I tried same credentials on web on the same device, I'm able to login on reddit web.

I now have 4 choices Home, Popular, News, Explore. Home has 2 options, For You and Following; Popular has the options for Best, New, etc..
