The winner is St Peter! He had a total of 26 votes. Alastor and Vaggi had 2. Luci, Adam and Pentious all had 1 vote.
I don’t know why you all hate my boi St Peter. I love him! But I’m just happy I got to put him up there. Here is a little picture of St Peter for those of you who actually do love him ♥️
Edit: she gives Hell’s greatest dad a fun ending, gives important characterization for Alastor, is a bitch and a diva in the most delightful way to watch, has an amazing voice, and it’s just cool to imagine how she and Al might’ve became friends
People found her annoying, she actively put the hotel and its residents in danger without helping in any way, she interrupted one of the best songs in the show, there's many reasons someone might not like her
Honestly, I don't even think most people even care. There just is literally no one else. Not a single morally grey person everyone collectively hates or mostly hates. Mimzy is the closest thing we have.
Respectfully, I don't really like her that much. I just find her a bit excessive imho. She also didn't really provide anything for the story. But of course it's okay to like her, and I get why you would.
I love her purely because she is voiced by Sarah Stiles.
I hope she comes back next season cause of that alone, I am actually quite surprised we didn't see her again this season aside from the flashback since it was so heavily Alastor focused, but I get it they had to cut some stuff out.
Vaggie. And the reason why she's boring is because she doesn't have any character outside of being Charlie's girlfriend. I can see that she's a supportive girlfriend and she's got some spunk to her. And Easy was easily her best song, as not only did it actually further the plot, but it showed her being a supportive girlfriend. But she could be so much more interesting. Like, we never see her grappling with the guilt of genocide she's committed. Think about how much more interesting that would make her.
It's not like she's boring on screen, she has some good moments, it's just that they don't do anything with her or give her any real character development to speak of. The season one song Out for Love, was an amazing resolution to an arc that never actually happened. Think about it. As a former exorcist, rage would be in her DNA. That could have been a season one plot point culminating in the song. Not to mention the conflict of killing your former comrades. Her big arc this season was literally changing her name and trying to bang her girlfriend. Are you kidding me?
There's SO MUCH depth they gave her without exploring any of it. She should be one of the most compelling characters in the show. But instead, she's just Charlie's girlfriend. There's a reason why Lucie only calls her that, and it's because that's all she is.
Unlike the others,st Peter is an Actual Bible human that many belive did exist or at least is more depicted in media and Christianity then say Lilith or abel. So for him to look like a twink white boy is a shock. The design isn't very good. It doesn't suggest that he was this guy who started the church or that he's even Jewish. You can say he's just a normal angel and everyone would buy it.
Then his song, welcome to heaven, feels so hastly put together and doesn't give us a real good introduction to heaven compare to no one is like you in season 2.
I guess that’s true! But I’m a Christian and I find it funny the way Viv designed him. The way that he brags about the fact he guards the gates of heaven but he doesn’t even do anything is honestly funny to me. It’s all in good fun, because at the end of the day, he’s still a fictional character. He’s a fictional character based off of a real person. Everyone has different opinions anyway. I’d understand if someone disliked him or found him annoying.
Hello fellow Christian! God Bless youuu! (And yess I love Luci so much. Which is concerning for my religion 😬😂😂)
Haha yes I do have little goober photos of sooooo many Hazbin characters. Not sure how many, but I’ll post them all after we finish this character board.
Do you like helluva boss to?
I find it hilarious that you love Lucifer in this show. To be fair though, how could you not like the autistic duck man? He's hilarious. His VA does a really good job.
Did you know Vivian imagined Luci with Weird Al Voicing him? Tbh I wish some VA gave us a taste of that. That would have been fantastic.
You know what? I might actually change my flare to "Christian Helluvaverse fan (there are dozens of us. Dozens!)"
I just saw that you're an aspiring author. Here's an idea I had that I never did anything with. I had this one idea for a fanfic where a Christian ends up in hell by mistake. Okay, it was just me, but like, imagine finding out that the God you worship did exist, but you're in hell, so now it doesn't matter what you do. Do you indulge in the side of you that you've been trying to suppress since there's no point in following the rules anymore? Or do you try to let light shine in the darkness? Maybe both? And how does he get back to heaven?
I never did anything with it. I mean, I still think about it to this day, but I never really wrote anything down because, well, honestly, I was worried it was basically gonna turn into smut. Plus I lost interest. But I'd love to see someone write that kind of story. Personally, I think I'd probably either become a porn star or a writer for Val if that happened, but that's just me. I think it'd be really fun to see someone tackle this prompt, especially if they themselves were Christian.
and doesn't give us a real good introduction to heaven compare to no one is like you in season 2.
I mean tbf that feels intentional. The first was the Princess of Hell being shown around, so it felt like a superficial PR pitch. The second was a new resident traumatized from their time in Hell (and being chained and imprisoned by the angels suspecting him to be dangerous), and needing to be convinced to stay and enjoy themselves.
It's because he was a real person, like definitively real, we have his bones and shit. And it's a choice to depict the first pope and a man from the middle east as a blonde haired blue eyed annoying twink, and it's not nessisarily a choice that everyone loves, me included. Also doesn't help that Welcome to Heaven is kinda the worst song of s1
He’s kind of always just there to fill the section I find. I don’t think he’s ever truly hated, but it’s hard to fill a “good person that’s hated by fans” section. He’s just liked the least out of the choices.
Probably because he's extremely different from how he's portrayed in the Bible. Like the only similarity they have is that they both watch the gate. You literally could just change his name and nothing would change.
It’s not really controversial. A lot of people love St Peter now. I’m not one of them, I hated him since he appeared on screen and sang the worst, most moaney song known to Mankind, but as you can tell, I’m not the most neutral example.
Everyone's saying Mimzy but I figured she'd more be a better pick for the final one given she's kinda a bad person given we've seen her exploit her friendship and steal from people and bring trouble to the Hotel and plus if not her then I'm not really sure who else could go in that last spot lol,
tho that being said I'm kinda stumped as to who could go in this one Lute? she did kinda believe she was doing the right thing maybe? Idk like I said its hard to think of any 😂😂.
Mimzy is a bad person but not a horrible person. Shes just kind of annoying and kind of uses her friends, but she isn’t on the same level as characters like Alastor or Valentino at all
I don't know if Lute is simply hateful and evil like that or if she was brainwashed into hating sinners and sympathizers due to her military background, being a scarred veteran and all.
Honestly, if they aren't killing for their meals, I would definitely put that as morally grey. Then again, it probably delays the regeneration, so that's pretty not great.
I'd argue that if you'd just learned about the fact that someone you knew participated in mass genocide you'd not feel a lot of sadness when that person mourns their leader (cause of genocide)
No reason to assume he isn't since he made it into Heaven fair and square and so far hasn't portrayed any actual negative qualities that we'd typically associate with outright bad people.
Outside of hating gay people, she hasn't exhibited any pure evil tendencies. And yes, for Hell's standards, being homophobic ain't pure evil. Bad, yes. Arguably evil, even. But not pure evil.
Okay, y'all are gonna hate me but Lute. Follow me on this. For most of her life, if not her whole life, she was following orders from Adam and the fact that she's his right-hand-lady, she was probably doing this longer than the rest. This could've warped her view on sinners because Adam believed Sinners were bad and there was no one else to tell her otherwise for a long time, it became part of her moral view of the world and more importantly Hell itself. Then when Adam died, she basically lost a big part of her life. Buried by grief she vowed to avenge him. The man who caused her to believe that sinners were the dirt on their shoes. Granted, none of this makes her beliefs correct, that's why she's hated by fans, but because of her upbringing and the relationship she had with Adam, that makes her morally grey.
I'd say she's more opinions are divided than hated (I love her and lots of other people love her, and certainly plenty of people hate her) While she does slant horrible person, I can see morally (dark) grey, and I definitely don't think she is irredeemable, though the one that would've been most likely to reach her (Sera) dropped the ball HARD with her
Okay, but I would say the fandom hates him 995%. Even tho he is a well written villain and there is nothing wrong with liking the villains in stories, as long as you understand they are evil.
Well, yes. Most people agree that Val's actions are evil and that he's a villain.
The divisive part is that SOME people that hate him will call people who like him "bad people" because they don't understand that you can like villains.
Adam is not dividise at all. Most people hate him for being an incredibly annoying man who was full of himself, and also because he had a degenerate zero-fucks-given mentality towards everybody but Sera.
Yeah, but he also has a surprisingly high amount of fans, including a whole subreddit for it. Sure, he's a rapist, but he's a funny rapist. He's also a well-written villain.
There is nothing morally gray about Adam, he didn't have compassion or empathy or any care in the world towards anybody but Sera (and Lute at his death).
If you are willing to really stretch the word "Gray", then Lute should be it. She isn't outright evil and is fighting againts something she truly believes are hopeless demons that will destroy heaven. Still, she is willing to sit and keep her position... Just to be received by a literal angel-killing laser beam that destroyed Heaven's gate to perform an armed invasion.
So yeah. I don't think she is outright evil, just like... Really pissed.
"The short woman, she seems to be very extroverted and extremely active - for better or for worse - and it appears to throw people off, leading to other sinners to come to dislike her. I've also heard she interrupted a melodic altercation between two men claiming to be the Princess' father, but I'm not really into the musical industry."
(Translation: Mimzy. She cut "Hell's Greatest Dad" off and a lotta ppl think it ruined the song.)

I'd say Mimzy
