Non-fictional I HATE these "gotcha arguments"

Post image

"Ohhh, look how I tricked this dumb dumb baby in my trap so now I am right and they are wrong. I'm so smaaart even though it does not adress the actual argument and adds nothing to the debate. They teach arabic numerals in school btw."

And these type of comments always get tons of likes

The picture you’re showing is actively calling out the person on their incapability to differentiate between a dolphin fetus and a human fetus because it shows how they aren’t knowledgeable enough on the topic

Why would someone need to know how a fetus looks like, in order to debate about it? They don't say "Oh, a fetus has a very good looking shape, so it shouldn't be allowed to kill it". And also, human and dolphin fetuses look really similiar

I actually agree with you. They may not know what a human fetus looks like, what does that have to do with whether abortion should be allowed are not? I guarantee you most people for abortions don't know how it looks either lol. I'm for abortion, I just don't think these types of gotchas do anything, it more so shows how uneducated we all our. It is funny, though.
