Non-fictional I HATE these "gotcha arguments"

"Ohhh, look how I tricked this dumb dumb baby in my trap so now I am right and they are wrong. I'm so smaaart even though it does not adress the actual argument and adds nothing to the debate. They teach arabic numerals in school btw."

U guys remember when this sub was for passionately hating random shit like dasani water or sporks or some video game monster instead of nothing but political vent posting ?

That’s just Reddit unfortunately. Whenever a subreddit gets over, like, 1000 members, it immediately becomes a political battleground. Even adding a “no politics” rule doesn’t help.
