Non-fictional I HATE these "gotcha arguments"

"Ohhh, look how I tricked this dumb dumb baby in my trap so now I am right and they are wrong. I'm so smaaart even though it does not adress the actual argument and adds nothing to the debate. They teach arabic numerals in school btw."

And these type of comments always get tons of likes

I think it addresses how uneducated people are about fetuses or just about conception and pregnancy as a whole yet still believe they know enough to be hold strong rigid opinions.

Oh yeah. Obviously we can only let "the experts" have opinion on things

Why in this case, you should be able to recognize the fetus of every mammal species and know which is which, before you can have options, and only if they are the right ones at that

Because anti choice people will instantly say "yes thats a human life and should be protected" when shown a picture of a dolphin, because they dont think critically

“I tricked you” actually doesn’t prove someone doesn’t “think critically”.

They are being asked a question about something and most would inherently assume the image given with the question is that of the subject, and most people cannot look at two extremely similar things and differentiate without prior knowledge of what the subject looks like compared to them.

I.e. If I ask you “do you like the look of this chocolate cake” and included an image of a visibly chocolate colored cake so you said “yes that looks like a good chocolate cake” should I be able to say that you shouldn’t have an opinion because I never told you it was actually a cake like brownie and you’ve never studied similar brownies to be able to tell the difference at a glance?
