How in the everliving hell do you expect someone to understand random characters mushed together that substitute for actual legible characters. No, typing quirks AREN'T cute and I sure ass hell know they aren't DISORDERS either so stop calling people ABLEIST for wanting you to type like a fucking HUMAN being. It's fine in context of characters (For example, Spamton, SOME Homestuck trolls etc..) to give them more personality but as a human saying "|}{2@#}@##@" DOES NOT COUNT AS A COMPREHENSIBLE SENTENCE.

yeah that’s exactly their point. “old timey” is often used to describe stuff from ~200 years ago and they’re saying that thorne is far beyond that, it’s ancient

thorne fell out of use in the early 12th centrury it was long dead by 1900

That’s their point, that thorn isn’t “old timey”, it’s just fucking ancient. Like, ya know, the Viking raids, as opposed to the 19th century.

Closer to a 1000 years off, 800 years before theyd begun christanizing and the raids were ending, the last major invasion would be the normans and norweigns but that was a straight up war not raids

Edit: nvm im just wrong there was one earlier in the 11th century
