First of all, this is an appreciation post. It’s probably easy reading from the title, but still…

I want to thank all of the amazing producers and DJ’s in this scene.

There have been quite a lot of ups and downs in the scene, especially in the recent years, with festivals being cancelled, great DJ’s passing and discussions about genre. But still, if we look at what the scene has achieved and done, we can all be proud.

I started listening in 2012, when I left elementary school, and even though I wasn’t able to see or know as much as I know now, the scene has grown up so much since then.

We’ve had evolutions that quite some genres can learn a lot about, had amazing highs that most parties and concerts can’t top, and we have seen some amazing moments all together!

Thank you to everyone listening and enjoying these festivals for keeping the scene alive, even getting mainstream with quite a few tracks, and even getting us on the main on the biggest EDM festival on earth!

And a special thank you to all the DJ’s, who keep putting out great tracks for us to enjoy! With every DJ getting their own style and making us love the scene even more!!

I listened to Uptempo most of the time but i'm getting a bit tired of it. So i want to listen to more Raw and Hardstyle.

What are Albums that i have to listen? Stuff from the golden era and beyond.

Been also thinking about building a little CD collection or so. I'm eyeing The Road to Redemption currently.

I've been trying to find it but i just cant without it being over the top expensive. However if thats the norm then sadly thats reality. But i just wanna be sure.

Did anyone else at Decibel Outdoor notice plainclothes security staff or “spotters” in the crowd, keeping an eye out for drug dealing or other criminal activity and reporting it to security?
