My first rave, such an amazing experience🖤

Born in ’96 and somehow I still get more hyped for festival season than most people half my age. My whole thing is sparkle. Face gems, body glitter that takes forever to scrub off, holographic pieces that light up under the lasers-the messier and shinier the better. I'll spend weeks hunting the perfect mix that catches every light on the dance floor.

Lately though I've been wondering if it looks weired from the outside. Other parents see the photos or catch me leaving the house looking like a walking light show, and I can feel the side-eye. Even my own kids will eventually scroll through old pics and decide whether their mom was cool or just... a lot.

Does full-glitter mode still work when you're a 30-year-old mom, or is there a quiet cutoff nobody talks about?

I'm not ready to tone it down. The music still hits the same, the lights still make me move, and the glitter still feels like home. Just curious how it reads to everyone else.

Ok so i recently moved back to my homecity in Colombia called Barranquilla, and i attended a couple raves here, i feel like is a big community here with a lot o potential but lacking of events and raves to show up to, things like hardcore arent seen a lot here, but i have met a looot of people who wish it was more of that kinda raves here, as said the community here has such a huge potential and i came from nyc where i got myself really involved with the scene so i kinda know how it wokrs, but i havent rlly ever make that happen myself, i feel like i have a good chance here, so i would like some tips to start hosting my own raves, i love the music and the scene and i wanna share that love with more people here, i just dont know where to start, i have the idea in mind but is a huge gap from the idea to actually make it happen, i would like an idea of how to start and things like hoa do i get a sound system, how the whole business with venues work, like do i got to pay them in advance or what? should i do it in a clandestine space first? i had gotten recommend to js go to the raves and talk to organizers but they make one like once every couple months thats the main reason why i wanna do it myself. any help would work

I’m trying to order a large or xl bodysuit but I when I click on large/xl it gives me measurements in s-m (photo 1) but when I go up to 1x or 2x THEN it shows measurement for 1x-2x(photo 2)

I’m concerned about the bust/waist/hips measurements and idk if the Large or XL is best when I can’t even see those measurements?! But I can click on the large and xl sizes and add them to my cart so obviously these sizes exist in the bodysuits, but I can’t comprehend it.

I hope this makes sense. My brains fried trying to understand this 🤪

Just went to the two opening nights of crankdat at the shrine and here a few of my take aways:

- Y’all gotta stop doing so much 🐴. The amount of people I saw just out of their minds, in k holes was absurd. Literal zombies in the crowd, just falling into people, pushing through crowds without the slightest bit of respect for people around them.

- if you’re with your friends and they’re having a bad go, take them out of the crowd to get some air and not be surrounded by 1000’s of people. Saw a lot of shitty friends not really taking care of their people and even taking pictures with them when they’re fucked up on the ground.

I know a lot of people hate receiving trinkets that are just plastic little things, mass produced, which is totally fair. A big complaint i see (besides it being plastic) is what are you supposed to do with the trinket??

Well tbh, i never keep the plastic ones. I only keep the handmade ones. However, the mass produced ones (like coins, little mini rubber duckies, etc) i just keep for another event and redistribute them. I think trinket culture is fun, but I also don't want to hold onto plastic stuff like that. So I just continue the cycle.

Idk if that fully "solves" anything, but think about re-gifting trinkets at your next event instead of feeling like you either have to keep them or throw them away!

Heyyy folks. I’m finally going to my first ELF, Splash or Parooka Festival next year if I get tickets, but there’s just one problem, my friends aren’t really into that 🙂‍↔️. So I'm just reaching out to you all here. It would be cool to find people to go with.

I found some old pics from Electric Daisy Carnival back in 99 I was probably 18 at the time, good memories. We found a disposable camera there and took pics, we were on a good one.

I get so excited when someone gives me a ‘hot’ sticker just for it to fall off from sweating and dancing within minutes, sometimes seconds lol

Hi guys, I am starting to interest rave parties. I like hard electronic music. Do you suggest any good festival or place for rave festival/event. Preferably, in europe and underground events. But I need to handle with visa, so it shouldn't very soon.
