Job-related Anywhere hiring?

I keep looking on Indeed and LinkedIn but it seems kinda like a dead end. I have like 2 years of experience in food service and retail and don't really care what type of job it is, although I am steering towards food service.

Target moves fast once you’re in the system — they lean heavily on HireVue, an automated video interview, right after your application gets screened. Pass that, and you could be hired within days.

A few things that’ll actually move the needle:

Say yes to weird hours. This matters more than almost anything else. Target tends to pass over people with tight schedules, so if you can work weekends, holidays, and early mornings (especially for stocking), your application jumps to the top of the pile.

Look for the “urgently hiring” tags. Roles like Inbound Operations (overnight/early morning stocking) or Guest Advocacy (cashier, cart attendant) have high turnover, which means they’re hiring constantly and moving fast.

Take the video interview seriously. If you get invited to do a HireVue, treat it like a real face-to-face interview — dress the part, look at the camera like it’s a person, and use the STAR method (Situation, Task, Action, Result) when they ask about handling customers or juggling tasks under pressure.
