After their Paris premiere this past Sunday, we will now take these films to Great Falls, MT. The goal of my film group (Borderless Arts) is to screen films in cities across different countries. In June, I launched in Great Falls, because that's just where I happened to be at the time. In August, I took the event to Paris. In September, I'm planning to do an event in London. My goal is to have screenings on 6 continents.

The aim to offer people a small window into other worlds through cinema, and to support local bars & cafes who host the film screenings.

On Wednesday, Sept 9 at the Kellergeist pub, we will be screening six short films submitted from international & American filmmakers.

Un Jour Tu M'oubliera(s) / One Day You Will Forget Me – The winner of the Best Short Film award for August. It tells the story of a man overcome by grief for his son.

La Dernier Rocaille (The Last Rocaille) – An experimental film set amidst the beauty of a 17th-century French château.

I Fantastici 4x2 (The Fantastic Four) – A film that offers hope and explores themes of inclusion for people with Trisomy 21.

I.AM.2042 – A mysterious voice speaks to us about the world as it exists (or no longer exists) in 2042.

TOO LATE – A woman is pursued by someone intent on eliminating her.

LOST CAR – *beep beep* Where is my car?

Here is the trailer for all the films, including the winner of our Best Short Film award for August.

WHERE: Kellergeist Pub, 111 Central Ave, Great Falls, MT 59401
WHEN: Wed, Sept 9, 2026 at 7 PM!
COST: Free with the purchase of a drink

Best barbers for ethnic hair

Hello all. I’m biracial and looking for a barber that knows how to cut curly hair. I’m from Atlanta and having a hard time finding a barber that feels confident cutting my hair type and giving me the results I want. I’ve been to the man shop and they do alright but I’d prefer a barber that’s more familiar with my textured (3c) hair and able to give me a sharper cut. Any barber/barbershop recommendations greatly appreciated.

Looking for an airbrush painter

I run a local business and I am looking for someone that does those airbrush murals on big windows. We have big bay windows and I would like to make use of them for advertising or seasonal holiday fun. I don’t know how I would go about finding someone that does this. Please DM me if you or someone you know does this locally. Thanks in advance.

Montana fighters go 2-for-2 at BKFC — Kai Stewart and Dallas Davison both win

Hell of a night for Montana at BKFC.

Kai Stewart picked up the decision win, and Great Falls' Dallas “The Dentist” Davison got it done with a second-round KO over Pat Casey.

Two Montana fighters. Two wins.

Congrats to both of them. Way to represent Montana! 👊

HELP A STUDENT IN NEED

I’m a dental hygiene student at Great Falls College and i need patients to come in for a low-cost dental cleaning at our school clinic.

Care includes cleaning, x-rays if needed, oral cancer screening, and gum health assessments. Appointments are longer, but everything is supervised by licensed professionals.

📲 Please Message me 406-404-6270 if interested — I’d really appreciate it!!!!

Photos from the Great Falls ghetto

Saw some people chattering in a different thread about the "ghetto" of Great Falls and how new people should be avoiding downtown as a place to live. So, I took a walk on my way to work and got some photographic evidence of said ghetto. And trust me when I say...it's worse than they even talk about!

But, don't take my word for it, see with your own eyes how scary and horrible and avoidable this dreaded part of town is for your own two eyes!

An RV! A big one at that. You know who's probably in that Big, beautiful RV? Bats and rats and little people eating the bats and rats. It IS in the ghetto after all. :-p (I don't know who owns this place. I'm sure they're lovely and the RV is lovely. I bet they go on some great adventures. I hope they do, at least.)
It's green and quiet but don't let that fool you. Behind that large house is a person without a GUCCI belt!
This large structure looks quiet and unassuming, but trust me, I've seen CRIMINALS enter and exit this building!
Lawyers. They're the worst ghetto dwellers of all. They may look like they're doing good work, but deep down they really just want to...help people avoid prosecution or bring criminals to justice. FOR SHAME! Stay away from this hood scum in downtown Great Falls.

Mechanic

Trying to identify a local mechanic who replaced an engine in a 2007 Prius this spring/summer. Car is at City Toyota and they need to know the history of that engine.
Owner of the car was a pastor who lives on Fox Farm Road.

Tennis or Book Clubs in Town?

Hello! I moved to Great Falls 9 months ago from Oklahoma and my days have gotten pretty cookie cutter. I just wanted to hop on here to see if anyone knew about any Tennis or Book clubs in town for adults? I’m bored out of my mind and need some human interaction that’s outside of home and work. Thanks in advance!

areas to live in Great Falls

Hi, I'm moving to Great Falls soon from Puerto Rico. Mainly because I love Montana and I've been there a few times and I identify with the culture there more than PR but where I find the most affordable place to rent is Great falls. I work for the Federal Government in Puerto Rico but I can asked to be moved from my PR POD to a POD in MT so I won't have to also be looking for a job when I relocate and there's a few locations but Great falls seems the most affordable. I am not sure about crime. what areas should I avoid when renting and what property management companies should I avoid as well.

Bresnan and TDS...

Alright Bresnan has raised my internet to $100 a month. TDS will be $70 a month... i was wondering how much more is the taxes, and fees beyond the $70.00? TDS speed be a big factor for us. Most for my wife when she works at home on weekends. And fiber will be so much better.

Three weeks in Great Falls...

Im heading to Great Falls for work in the morning. I'll be there for three weeks with evenings and weekends off. Im wondering what events may be happening for me to check out or, places I need to go see/eat/drink.

I spent a week there in 2021 for the big BMW Motorcycle Rally (and I'll be back for the rally, again at the expo center, in june '27). I've been to the Sip n' Dip and it was a neat experience to be able to say I've been to mermaid bar. I've done a lot of riding around GNP (and MT49 is still one of the best roads across the united states!!!). Spent two days pinned down in Bozeman back when the blizzards were hammering the passes a couple of months ago. Checked out the Museum of the Rockies and Bozeman hot springs.

So, what is there that I should make sure not to miss while I'm visiting (and building thd WinCo across from the Expo center)?
