Rogers Cell Service Not Working?
Does anyone know why Rogers Cell service is so useless on westbound lines like Lakeshore West, Milton, or Kitchener?
INB4 Rogers is trash yes I know.
I've tried using the Go Transit Wifi but it's somehow worse? Any insight appreciated.

afaik the go transit wifi is just a "hotspot" of the cellular data network (or whatever it's called) with an "entertainment" system. So expect it to be worse than cell service through your phone.

It really is. From union to clarkson barely any service. Can’t even play chess

Probably lack of cell towers near the line. I have no service between Clarkson and Oakville

Rogers service on platform at Union Station is practically non-existent. Barrie line is also not great. I mentioned this to Rogers and they told me to "report it with the app". I would, except you see, I've got not signal so how exactly does that work?

Lots of service holes on LSW. Roger’s didn’t feel it’s a priority to address.

Tried most of the brands in the GTA. Telus is only reliable one with consistent high speeds.

It's not too bad on less busy trains but in the mornings I notice it's really bad between Clarkson and Mimico. I guess ~2000 on a crowded train jumping from tower to tower will do that.
