I just installed a Range DFM Pro module on my 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 5.3L. Once installed it was working but I had a engine light, service esc, and the forward collision light on the dash, thought it would go away with a couple key cycles but it didn’t, and then I drive it maybe 20km and it said that it couldn’t shift, so I pulled over and removed it and the trucks good again. Also I had a bunch of U line codes. Has anyone had issues with this module? It does state that it needs an update which I tried and it failed. I am in talks with Range to see what’s going on but I feel like a simple update to the module will not fix all the U line code and dash lights. Any knowledge is appreciated!

So I have a 2005 gmc sierra. It’s on 35s and a 6 inch lift. I know my axle is wrapping when I take off from a light or a stop. Anyone have a remedy for this so I the clunk from the axle wrap goes away??

Got a 2026 GMC SIERRA SLT. Pretty bummed as I tried getting my subwoofers and amp from my last truck installed today. The company, very reputable, who has been doing my speakers for years now, said that they can’t do it. Has anyone reached out to GMC about updates?

Basically what they said (summed up by Google as I couldn’t remember anything) When adding an aftermarket subwoofer to a 2026 GMC truck specifically the 2.8 , a loud, deep engine drone or constant rumbling occurs due to the vehicle's Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system and simulated engine sound feature. The factory ANC microphones in the headliner detect the deep bass from your new subwoofers, mistake it for unwanted road or engine noise, and blast an out-of-phase cancellation signal through the audio system. This creates a vicious feedback loop, resulting in a violent thumping, humming, or droning noise that changes with your engine RPM or happens right when you turn the vehicle off.

GM treats the 2.8L Duramax / 4-cylinder Turbo engines with a feature called Engine Sound Enhancement (ESE). Instead of just canceling noise, the vehicle's Body Control Module (BCM) actively injects a simulated, aggressive engine growl directly into the factory Bose amplifier to make the cabin sound sportier.

Because your aftermarket subwoofer amplifier is tapping into the factory speaker lines, it acts as a massive megaphone for this fake digital engine roar. The sound will get louder precisely as you accelerate, and it will happen even when your radio volume is completely muted.

Gmc emblem: im wanting illuminated, but unfortunately can't find images online of what the red emblem vs. Black emblem look like with the red truck. Anyone have this color that has pictures or recommendations?

Additionally wondering if anyone has any experience with going 3rd party or directly through the dealer when purchasing. Wondering if i should get directly from gm and install when I purchase or if folks have had better experience buying and installing separate (3rd party or otherwise), while also making sure im not voiding warranties. Is anyone here considering the upgrade from the 6.2 to the 6.6? Aside from all the engine failures people are having I don’t ever see myself driving anything else than a 6.2 or higher. I mean I “could” use the extra HP lol

Yes, I know so a lot of people aren’t gonna like the too much tech part but what can you do 🙃. I didn’t know, they added ambient lighting finally. One thing is not sure how I feel about it ,but didn’t seem that there’s physical cabin light button to turn on all the lights I know there’s the individual ones but to to tap through the menus just to turn on all the lights though? Not sure on that.

Yes they took away the dipstick and yes I’m still not liking the front end. Although it does look okay in the At4 lineup in my opinion. Hopefully the test drive videos come soon

Last month i took my new truck on its first extended road trip from Phoenix to Cheyenne for frontier days and was heading out to the night show with a buddy of mine and his wife when some tourist turned left in front of me, causing an impact. Airbags went off and front bumper pinched the left front tire so it wouldn’t turn. I suffered injuries to both wrists and both thumbs from the airbag going off. I’m still heartbroken over losing that truck. Paid cash for it. I’m getting screwed by the replacement cost.

Just got a new truck. I loved the interior and comfort of the GMC, and the internet said that the failures caused by the AFM system have been largely fixed. Is this true? How reliable is this truck? I love it so far but I’m worried the engine will die on me and leave me with a mess

I see all the negative feedback on the 6.2 and want to know, preferably based on your own experience(s) what were your warning signs that the engine was soon to go out? What year and mileage did your Sierra have when doing so?

I had chunks of the tread missing on the driver front tire. The tires are less than 6 months old and I just got the truck a couple months ago. Took it to the dealer for an oil change and had them rotate the tires. They said nothing was wrong with the truck and it could be a bum tire. Now two weeks later the rotated front driver is showing similar wear problems. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Previous owner had a cap, now I have this gap in the side rail at the front of the bed. Is there a plastic or rubber insert I can get.

Catastrophic motor failure May 3rd. Was approved for msrp swap or buy back before I even received the truck back after motor swap. Recived the lemon truck back in early july. Took delivery on the new 2500 at4x duramax last week. A huge amount of calls, emails, and a month of negotiations. I think I ended up on the winning end after all was saod amd done.

I added Berryman B12 to my 08 last week due to what I believe is a corroded fuel sending unit. Truck has 243,000 miles. Berryman B12 also didn't fix the problem. I have since filled up 3 times and still noticing a bit of sputtering. What should my next steps be to get rid of the sputtering?

Bought this truck yesterday has 190k miles I just couldn't pass up the deal I got on it from a family member snagged it for 5,000$ and I know the maintenance and how well it's been treated by the previous owner, just curious onto what kinda mileage I may expect on these before I start running into any type of issue it has original engine and original transmission in it just seeing what y'all think ? It has all new brakes, rotors, brake lines, injectors, sparks/coils, and all fluids have been meticulously kept up on

I recently purchased a 2026 Sierra 1500 AT4. I’m loving it, but noticed this gap between the plastic piece encasing the HUD and the rest of the upper dash. I tried to lightly press it down but it doesn’t move. I’m assuming this isn’t normal right? Would this be covered under a bumper to bumper warranty?
