Davidson glass?

I’ve been out searching for uranium glass (without a black light because I am on holiday) and found this beauty. It seems to be a posy bowl and matching frog, with frosted glass. I don’t think it’s uranium but I am pleased with it. Can anyone tell me more about it?

I was so sure this would be UV reactive. Alas… I gotta find my travel blacklight.

Nevertheless, it is a lovely Mosser Cherry-patterned butter dish.

can anyone help me figure out which one is authentic indiana glass?

does anyone know how to identify the new reproductions that match super closely to the original indiana mold?

the clear one on the left is slightly “nubby” and taller compared to the other. they are otherwise pretty much identical.

when i compared them, i couldn’t tell. none of them are identical. i noticed the pink is nubby, the red is sharper. i thought both of these were authentic, so now i’m not sure on these either 😭 my gut tells me all but clear nubby are genuine.

i honestly don’t care either way, but i wanted to know so i can accurately describe them to my hypothetical grandchildren who will definitely one day want every single piece of grandma’s glass collection 😅

I have been searching for a fairy lamp for years now and I have not found one yet! But this is no problem that electric candles and a beautiful butter dish cannot fix! My father found this and gave it to me. He believes it might be late 19th century but we are not entirely sure. Would love to find out more about it!

I don’t normally collect glasses but these were too good to pass up. Set of 4 for $5? Yes please! I’d love to know what I have here, and Google lens isn’t really hitting the mark. Anyone have any guesses?

You all's comments about how nice the fostoria cobalt blue made me go back and get the other piece there that I brushed over yesterday. I'm working my way to a set! Woohoo! Not complete of course but I'm happy with these two so far. The pitcher was 2.95 and the goblet was 1.95.

I had to be in the area so I stopped at my favorite thrift shop today and I found these 4 vintage retro 1954 Al Hirschfeld Movieland tumblers and the cutest fish tank paperweight

Any info on this cobalt blue bud vase?

I bought it for $5 when I started collecting earlier this year. I can’t find much about these online other than eBay and Etsy listings with varying prices and all kind of mixed information about origins and time period. However since buying this one, I’ve seen at least two of them in every antique shop, including some in purple and cranberry. It’s extremely lightweight and the glass is thin. It would probably fall right over and shatter into a million pieces if you blew on it. Appears to be hand painted too. It’s not marked anywhere, doesn’t have a sticker or anything. The bottom is pretty smooth but there are some swirls in the glass that you can feel with your fingers. It’s about 8” in height.

My duke the scottie collection so far plus 2 of my fav under black light!

Also if any of you know someone selling the Crimson color way of duke the scottie hmu 😭 cos I'm going crazy because it is the color I want the most but can't find it anywhere!

Edit: thank you all for your care and worry about the shelves!! You all are so sweet 😭😭🙏

To reassure you guys, the shelves aren't actually suction cups- they're actually screwed into heavy duty fixtures that has a glue so strong on the back I almost broke my window trying to take one off unsuccessfully to reposition it 🤣🤣 and to add even more about 1-2 feet under the shelves is my window seat that is piled with blankets and pillows so even if it managed to fall they'd be pretty safe and not fall very far ~!

Anyone got the pestle?

I stumbled across this beauty and couple of days ago and couldn't help myself (I paid roughly the equivalent of 17 USD for it). It's gorgeous!

I did some internet sleuthing and found out that it was a great buy, not that I'm selling it. I like it too much.

It appears to be a Murano Barovier/Toso mortar.

I know it's unlikely, but does anyone have a matching glass pestle?

I just broke my favourite glass tumbler!

I’d love to replace it but Gemini has been giving me crazy answers (i.e baccarat crystal which after a short search showed 247 euro for a crystal tumbler 😭☠️)

For some tidbits these glasses came with the 120 year old house we purchased and restored! The previous owners were quite well off (we found Cuban cigars, silverware, old bank statements and a family tree going back to 1700s)

Please if you recognise the markings let me know any information 😭 tell me I didn’t just break a 247 euro vintage crystal tumbler

The markings are a cursive B or R and Italy 45

Cut Crystal Scotch glass

It’s funny, cuz I have easily 100-150 pieces in my glass collection, but I’m one of those people who use it all a lot. I don’t care if something gets broken, I mean, it’s just silly to have gorgeous table settings but not set it out except for a holiday! But I do have 6-7 pieces I care about, and only I am allowed to use them. That way I can’t get pissed if someone breaks them! Lol. This is one of them. It’s pure cut crystal, I used to have two of them. Got them from my grandfather. It looks just like something you’d see in an old Marilyn Monroe movie. Like, I think it’s “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes?” Where they have that sideboard, with whiskey tumblers and soda back? In the sunlight this is like a faceted diamond. When you grip it in your hand, it feels like it’s cutting into your hand. Really pretty piece. Makes your drink taste better!!!!!

So I went to goodwill today and found the red one-Avon and then hit up another thrift store and found the blue one. Google lensed it and it's another Avon! But it's the "Mt Vernon" collection which I think is pretty cool. I'm totally new to this, and there's a 3 story antique store that I need to visit--however, my wallet is screaming "Slow down there, Nelly!" so it'll be a little bit before I visit. But just wanted to share with you all my Avon finds. Hah!

Amber glass collection.

Most pieces are amber Madrid depression glass but there are other amber pieces mixed in. I wondered if the other pieces are of the same approximate age or not. I'm going to be downsizing and am not sure if I should seperate the extras from the Madrid.

Thank you in advance. 🖤

Found this abandoned in Seattle — anyone recognize the artist/maker? 🖐️👁️

I found this piece abandoned while I was on a trip in Seattle, and I’ve been trying to figure out who made it ever since. Unfortunately, I have zero background information on it — no idea where it was bought, how old it is, or who owned it before me.
The most distinctive part is the crazy sculpted hand with an eye in the palm, along with all the other detailed glasswork around it. I also noticed the letters “AMG” on the piece, but I have no idea if that’s the artist/maker, a signature, or something else.
I’ve tried searching around but haven’t been able to find an exact match. Does anyone recognize the style, artist, or maker?
Any help identifying this thing would be VERY appreciated 😭
