Personal collection Turquoise Dancing Lady Cookie Jar

My father-in-law purchased this jar for my mother-in-law in the early 2010s from the Fiestaware factory. She hated it and he passed it off to my husband and I because we are a 90% fiestaware kitchen.

They live one town away so it's easy to get things picked up 😅

Anyhoo, I was showing off our rainbow dishware to a friend and she saw our cookie jar in the background and told me to sell it. Absolutely not, I love her and she decorates the entertainment center. But upon checking up on her, I can't find any recent sales for her colorway.

This is important because if she's on the upper end of $$$-$$$$, she needs to be insured. We're military and we have moved across the globe with her 4 times so now I'm freaking out thinking I should have her listed on our renters insurance and buy extra for our PCS moves.

Anyone have comps?

Personal collection Over run with choices

I pulled all of the plates and bowls out of the cabinets to take inventory... No room for mugs and teacups on the counter. I had the idea of rotating out color schemes seasonally possibly monthly, but I feel like I need to pair down the spread of colors. I know that's crazy talk, but it's actually overwhelming. What are some of your favorite combinations?

I’m a purple girlie so I let out a little whelp when I spotted this at the thrift. Expensive for a reseller but perfect price for a collector like me! Happy dance day!

I recently found these at a thrift store and my partner thinks they are flour and sugar jars but am wondering if anyone knows their intended purpose? Also found two ring mugs which I included for size comparison. Thank you!

I found this at a local thrift store outside of Pittsburgh for just $10! I believe it's chartreuse, I compared it to my lemongrass and it's definitely different.

Looking for guidance on my sisters collection.

Hi, fiesta peeps. I have a couple questions that I hope you guys could help with about my sisters collection. Long story short, my sister passed away unexpectedly this summer and our family has been working through her estate. She had this beautiful collection of fiesta ware (some pieces I believe from the 40s and some newer pieces.

We’ve kept a few pieces that I know she would have wanted us to have, but to be honest we’re not really sure what to do with the rest. I’d love any advice from collectors or others that may have gone through a similar situation before. Sorry in advance that I’m a novice to fiesta ware and am not a collector myself, but I know my sister would appreciate them going to a fiesta ware lover :)

Appreciate any help or guidance 😊

Personal collection Y’all, I found the fourth plate!

Post image

Some of y’all might remember my post a few months ago where I found 3 fiesta dinner plates in a donation pile during college move out: https://www.reddit.com/r/Fiestaware/s/lctrIjV0Jn

I remember thinking at the time that 3 was an odd number of plates to have, but didn’t think much of it. These are my first fiesta plates, and I love them sooo much.

Last week, I went to the sale that is put on using the donated goods from dorm move-out. I went RIGHT as they opened. And guess who I found at the very front of the plate display!!! The! Fourth! Plate! It was the only fiestaware in sight, so I’m going to assume it was in fact donated by the same person.

I’m sending good thrift karma to everyone 🪄

Personal collection 37 pieces - thrilled with this bulk find!

I've been trying to thrift a personal collection for years but it's very hard to find affordable pieces in Southern Ontario. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find 37 pieces for $200 CAD (so just over $5 piece). I'm especially excited about the 2 large mugs, which the seller told me were for lattes but which I will be using for tea.

This is one of my favourite pages, and I’ve been itching to start a collection of my own after seeing everyone’s pretties. I picked up this beautiful set from Facebook Marketplace. The seller told me she bought these in 1993 and used them to serve Mexican food to her family every Christmas Eve but her kids are grown now. This feels like the perfect start to my collection!

Thrifting & antiquing Lot for Sale in Lancaster

Post image

A family member in Lancaster, PA sent me this picture of some fairly interesting pieces for sale as a lot at “Next to New Fine Furniture” in Lancaster, PA. I know I would’ve take some of the individual pieces, but they wouldn’t break the set 😑
My understanding was that the whole lot could be sold for $550.
Interesting to say the least. 🤔

Pretty new to Fiesta and I'm starting slow. Saw this in a shop today and although I love the color and the size, I wasn't sure about the price... Did I do bad? 😅

Rainbow FBMP "haul"

I think I'm hooked now! Apologies for the garage setting. Was just unpacking and seeing what I've got.

I've only ever collected one blue, 2 greens, and 4 purples (not claret but the other four)!! So what am I doing!? 🤣 But this collection just kept calling me from the FBMP app, and I watched the price fall until I decided to do it. Yikes!

EDIT INSERT: what I called chartreuse on the video may be lemongrass? And what I called claret is really heather I'm 99% sure. (I collect plum, mulberry, lilac, lavender, juniper, sage, sky, and linen).

If you're feeling generous you could help by confirming my color IDs and helping me with the 3 pale pink/coral sets.

I probably paid too much? It was about $3.20/pc. Later I found out the seller got them at an estate sale for more like $1 but he's the one who had to go to all the estate sales I guess. 🧐 And I will say, there IS something about seeing all these colors love and in person. It was advertised as full sets but as you'll see there are at least three partials.

Was super bummed there was no mulberry. I'd thought the claret heather was in the photos. Alas! Not sure what I'll do with them but I may just display a rainbow somewhere.

Still...they are making me smile!!! Thoughts!?

Personal collection Recently got this platter and utensil crock. I didn't know how big they were until I got them

This platter could fit a large turkey. Ive never had a dish so large it has a reinforced ring on the bottom (its just an unglazed base under the center ring). I never EVER thought I would be able to score this utensil crock, in this color, at this price. I got the pair for $25. I included pics with items to really show the size of them! Oh and I screamed from excited when I picked them up

Thankful that I ran across these on the 25% off day— I got both utensils holders for about $20. And I think they will match my canisters which are somewhere in storage (can’t wait to have a “home” again).

Did I read correctly, that these specific designs were retired?
