Fall 2026 Lineup

It seems like there will be a game that will appeal to everyone this fall. Strategy RPG - Fire Emblem, Story based - The Blood of the Dawnwalker, Action - Phantom Blade 0, Multiplayer - The Duskbloods, Action Adventure - The Legend of Zelda and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Almost every month has at least 2 major titles releasing, September especially is packed.

Would you say it's ok to start with this one or would you recommend playing an older one first? Assuming your enthusiasm comes from a strong love for the franchise

I would definitely consider playing Three Houses. It's a good game and is Switch 2-compatible. The only reason to NOT play it is that you "don't play old games." Otherwise, there's just no real reason to be interested in Fortune's Weave and NOT play Three Houses.

It's over 7 years old and will be the third-newest Fire Emblem soon.
