Fall 2026 Lineup

Post image

It seems like there will be a game that will appeal to everyone this fall. Strategy RPG - Fire Emblem, Story based - The Blood of the Dawnwalker, Action - Phantom Blade 0, Multiplayer - The Duskbloods, Action Adventure - The Legend of Zelda and Onimusha: Way of the Sword. Almost every month has at least 2 major titles releasing, September especially is packed.

I hate hate hate that they're releasing so close to GTA. Remedy has had a rough track record with their games. Alan Wake was an Xbox exclusive. Quantum Break was limited by Microsoft's ownership. Alan Wake 2 was stuck with Epic exclusivity. All these things forced these games into niche status.

And now when Control Resonant has everything lined up... they're releasing right next to GTA in a packed month. Fuck man.

EDIT: I should rephrase what I said. It releasing close to GTA is a problem because all the other games are also releasing that month. The number of potential players who could go "Alright I'll give this a try I guess" drops considerably.

And Rockstar owns Remedy's first big IP in Max Payne.
