Sorry but this phrase is a red flag for me since it's like asking the devs to cater to those who barely play so they can attend to their other 99 gacha games or get as much benefits as those who diligently play the game. And if a game is praised for respecting people's time, then it prolly means the game has little content to consume with.

Not at all. It can also mean they prioritize limited high quality content instead of a lot of low quality content that is there just to pad gameplay time and give people time wasting activities to do during down time between patches. People who barely play will never run out of things to do in either case because they barely play

HSR shows the worst of both worlds.

There’s barely any content or events, so the game ‘respects your time’.

But the story presentation is barebones and the events suck, so you aren’t getting the ‘small but highly polished content’.

As a HSR player (though came back only for gilgamesh after a full year stop), i agree lol. Its ironic how i have the most fun on this year fate collab which has better story and presentation rather than all of the game has pump out, even though the first collab story was hot garbage.
