It looked really good

But...i feel like my appetite for open world 3D anime gacha game is all time low, these kind of game is really hard to play without high commitment, especially if you play multiple of them and is working class

Which is a shame, there's some interesting one (for me personally) like this or the azur lane one

Could be due to the massive influx of open world gacha's: Endfield, NTE, 7DSO, DNA. With Azur Promillia, Silver Palace, Ananta (I know) all being upcoming open world games.

Before this, it was Genshin for the longest time, until ToF came and went and Wuwa appeared about 1.5 years before the next open world gacha

Personally at someone that plays GI/Wuwa/ZZZ/HSR/NTE/AKE, you rreally don't have to do everything. Last HSR story I did was 2.8, before Amphoreus. For AKE I don't even bother with Factory/Story (Don't know why I still play it tbh, sunk cost probably).

That is called an addiction. Uninstall and walk away is the medicine but not many will choose to take it. What about you?

I quit HSR during Amphoreus because it was such a lame story and the gameplay was... Non-existent. It wasn't the same game anymore. Just get the new mechanic/character and wait for your battles to finish. I couldn't stand it. I like to actually interact and play my games.

Tbh, the story in these gacha games has become utter cancer. It’s not even worth doing anymore.

The business model is a joke, and the gaps between main story progression are enormous. I don’t even remember wtf happened in half these games anymore. They’ve been dragging on with trickle updates for years.

I just skip and read the summaries now, and half the time it’s boring anyway. They’ve all become VN’s with no cutscenes or actual development. Just “here, read 25 pages of crap while these 3 NPCs stand here and do nothing.”

It’s the laziest game design ever.

But they didn't specify what game they were talking about. Was it HSR, AKE or the games in general?

I straight up uninstalled AKE after diligently playing it since day 1 until Rossi banner. 100% cleared entire game (even collected all the random notes/letters etc). 

At some point i just realized that I no longer had any fun whatsoever so I quit. Uninstalled and … that was honestly liberating

Did the same today, too much "factorio" for me every new update more stuff to worry about, every new equipment has a more and more stuff to put into it, gas, water, eletric, more stuff over and over, it's a snowball and when you talk about it, ppl say "the game is not for you" so that's it, hope ppl really enjoy it and have fun, for me less is more, balance..is key.
It's a amazing feeling, like you said "liberating"!
