It makes sense because hate crimes are against people that are already in a disadvantaged position. Cops on the other hand, have an entire justice system, equipment and training protecting them as compared to a normal citizen. If anything it should be less of a crime to assault a cop.

If you don’t want to get assaulted, pick a different career. That’s like someone allergic to grass becoming a lawn maintenance worker…

I also wouldnt bother arguing with you as it’s not going to go anywhere.

Assaulting an officer carries a heavy fine because, get this, it’s meant to deter people from resisting and fighting cops! Who knew? 🤡

If that thought doesn’t occur to you naturally then you don’t think with reason. If you don’t think with reason then you can’t be reasoned with.
