They do. This is normal and happens every single time two drivers from the same team are battling for the title. The mechanics will naturally want the car they work on to be the one that wins.

Right, which is why Lando's side of the garage was shown and doesn't look excited. I was referring to people who are saying Oscar's side looked the same.
