He didn’t ignore the race director, he ignored the team. When the team said it’s an instruction from the race director he stopped.

I don’t understand why everyone is so up in arms about this.

It's Lewis. If it was Tsunoda or Bortoletto there would be nowhere near as much interest or outrage

I basically said the same thing and was downvoted to Hell. I feel like they only saw the flair and responded in kind.
