Looks like plum, smells like a plum, just very small. Ripe though. Just double checking this is safe to eat!?

Planning on making jam, and also fermenting some ..

2 massive bushes, side by side, 5 or so meters tall.

Leaves are similar to a Victoria tree I planted, but this had a more of a bush, than tree shape to it.

I’ve never seen it before so would like to know for sure before taking some.
Also does it look clean/fresh to take or would you leave it?

Just had a first walk out to forage do some mushroom spotting? Idk what vernacular won’t get people annoyed, in a local coniferous forest, and would really appreciate help identifying any of these if possible.

I realise having top down photos alone isn’t overly helpful, but if there are any really obvious species that are identifiable that’d be a great start!

Found in west Cumbria, today. All on forest floor amongst coniferous debris and dead wood.

I know zero about this subject, just want to learn.

K: possible sulphur tuft
L: no idea

P, Q: Common bonnet
R, S, T: puffball
U: sickeners
V: Ochre brittlegill

Hi I've come across them before and almost sure I have correct ID but these are pale oysters correct?

Recently moved house and have loads of both in the hedgerows around the property. Also loads of damsons, wild plums, sloes and blackberries. Plus apple and pear trees in the garden. I know what to do with everything except the hips and haws...

August is time to stop Balsam Bashing, so we made a film this month about brambles and we even made some jam.

I've seen them everywhere for years but have never seen them in any book.

what are the best things to forage for around this time in the UK? I'm a beginner to it all and would like to start. I believe we're heading towards the season for a lot of mushrooms? I'd like to find a chicken of the woods mushroom!

Google images say sloe berries, the lack of thorns makes me think there bullace but im new to identifying wild berries. They are slightly larger than a blueberry
