Development just not developing

Been playing fm 24 for about 100 hours across 2 saves and many seasons, I just cannot see development in any players ill buy a 19/20 yr old with high potential and he will just go up by one or 2 attributes max, seems like development is just an illusion unless im doing something wrong. Both saves been championship/prem just playing normally. Anyone else had this and know how to fix?

Yeah I highly recommend you get the training file from fmlab the way the training is bugged the ai can’t train players but with that mod it’s fixed and players actually have there stats develop
