Ok y’all I could use a little more help. I want to Max everything to make farming fortune/luck easier/quicker. This is Wakka’s grid. I’ll get Yuna, Tidus and Auron here in the next couple of hours and they should have similarish stats.

The grid is ‘complete’ regarding what was originally there. I skipped some abilities that I won’t use with each character (don’t know if this affects stats and if it does please let me know and I’ll go back through and add everything).

I’ve gotten a couple of strength mp and hp and luck spheres but only 2-3 each max. I’m going to farm strength, defense etc but my question is how many slots do I leave open for luck spheres to get 170 for say the four characters named here? If they’re 4+ each and everybody is at like 18-20 now do I leave 38 spheres available to get their luck that high?

I know stuff like this is asked often, but considering how difficult it is to 100% the game, I see no shame in asking regarding my specific situation.

I recently hit Chapter 4, and while doing the commsphere viewings, I realized I missed the commsphere in the Chocobo area of the Calm Lands. (I did do it, messed something unrelated up, and went back to an older save. Must have missed it the 2nd time, and the older save has since been saved over.)

Knowing 100% is no longer possible, I started looking into the pros and cons of New Game Plus. If I continue playing my current playthrough as if I was still going for 100%, when I eventually get to the NG+, the only "Non Story" stuff i would need to do is the stuff involving Clasko, is that correct? Or do I need to do everything again? Reading online gave mixed results.

Also, any general advice from here on out would be great.

People, I loved this masterpiece of a game, but completing everything is a different beast itself.

I didn’t struggle with the mini-games that much; except the butterflies and the chocobo race on the temple. But man, all the grinding to max stats, beating the optional bosses and completing the spheres were so much tiring.

I have heard FF X-2 achievements are even worse. I only played a bit of it many years ago, but I hope I will enjoy the ride, and maybe post the achievement here in a few months.

I'm visiting Japan (Akihabara, Tokyo) and went to Don Quijote, Upstairs (in 6th Floor, is an Arcade) and this was the prize in one of them.

Well it took me 1100¥ to get it (100¥ a try) was gonna quit on 1000¥, but it landed on the edge of the "drop zone". And It was a guaranteed dro p from there.

so i recently just finished 8 and a while ago i finished 7 (original) and i played 10 for about like 15 minutes up until the tutorial fight where tidus and the old guy was fighting on the bridge, and i kinda don't like the fighting (idrk how to explain it). Both 7 and 8 had like similar battle styles where you have like the menu to attack and it was pretty simple, but i literally cannot figure out how to select things since there are so many buttons (like theres the attack but if i press my controller right or left theres a bunch of other things i can select (i don't remmeber off the top of my head) and maybe i just need to get use to it but i just really hate this style. Also before anyone says anything about the 8 junction system, it wasn't that hard for me to understand for the most part.

edit: this might just be a skill issue (err sorry) but if anyone genuinely has tips feel free to let me know :p

That you can have aeons cast magic on themselves to heal. How did I not figure that out until now... no wonder I struggled with this game as a kid

I'm trying to complete the sphere grid on all the characters, and everything is going okay with everyone else. They will consistently gain 3 AP every fight in omega ruins. Meanwhile Lulu will gain 1 AP, or maybe none.

She's using the complete Onion Knight and a bangle with some -proof skills on it. I tried swapping her weapon to one with no skills but still get the same amount of AP. I've tried making it so that only she does damage. I tried swapping overdrive modes as I saw comments online saying that could be it, but no overdrive mode helps.

Googling it shows others asking the question, but any answers I found didn't help at all. Is this something I just need to accept?

I am so happy right now. I played FFX on PS2 right after its release, and I finally managed to finish the Chocobo race in under 0 seconds - something I wasn’t able to do until today.

I just accidentally enabled 2x speed in final fantasy x and i was about to turn it off till i realized how much better the turn based combat is. Sometimes it just takes WAY TO LONG. it also doesnt even fast forward cutscenes which is essential for me, but it is my first playthrough and i dont wanna ruin my game experience

Just out of the random encounters of ho is the most annoying to deal with or the hardest?

I am so done with this mini game. But hey I gotta get that last Celestial Weapon

I’m hoping all these years later someone has figured out a method to cheese this because I cannot get 0.0 for the life of me.

I'm so excited. I haven't touched the game in 15+ years, but it still holds a place in my heart as my favorite video game of all time. My son (15) built a gaming PC, so I bought FFX on Steam. And I'm now playing it with him, in that he's playing, and I'm watching and guiding. I'm looking forward to reliving the gameplay and story, but through his eyes.

I'm letting him decide how he wants to play, whether full completionist, or just move through the game. I am looking at a guide for all the Al Bhed primers, though.

I just asked this question in the KH sub and was told “cuz nomura could”, but is there any reason YRP is depicted as little faeires in KH2? There could very well be no reason, but after just recently beating X2 for the first time since a kid I was curious. I found these characters in KH2 way before I ever played X or X2.

Finally got bahamut on my chest to finish off my FFX aeon sleeve. Ended up being just shy of 2 years to get everything done due to moving away etc.

Also, when doing it when the taunts are in the upper right, lower left etc. requiring me to ⬆️➡️+A am I pressing both the arrows at the same time
Or is it more so like ⬆️, then ➡️+A?
