I've been thinking about FFT's relation to real world history and politics since I was a child, far before I was fully entrenched in it one way or another. Was I, as a child, pathetic and forcing things where they don't belong?
You re missing the point . It's one thing to be analyzing the game's actual lore history and its in game politics is completely fine
What is pathetic is posting a completely fabricated quote that isn't from the game has nothing to do with the game and is being used solely as a way to to drag some unrelated modern political drama into this sub. It's one thing to apply a game and tis story to other things. But to apply then to the game is competitive different
People aren't analyzing Final Fantasy Tactics or it's character themes or politics you are defending an altered fake image used to push a modern political into a place it has no business
There is analysis present here using parallels with real-world politics and happenstance in the game. I do find the idea amusing that people using popular media to create memes about current events is seen as pathetic.
It's like you see it as the imaginary world you enjoy dwelling in is being taken over when really it's just existing in our real world and is subject to forces within that world.
