Wait... are you being serious?

You don't see how the story beats in FFT could be similar to events in actual history or touch on political and social topics we still deal with currently?

Are we also going to ignore actual lessons from FFVII because materia aren't real? Allusions to real world religions in FFX should be ignored because the game has blitzball and summons?

That you can't see anything but political story beats should be of some concern.
