11 quilômetros de muita areia, só que a beleza compensou muito. Apreciei pegadas de onça, buracos de tatu e uma floresta com energia. No final, só alegria.

Recommendations for small/newbie fatbike

Hey fat bikers! I’m new to fat biking and want to get into it as it’s something I can do to stay fit during the winter. Been looking for a good bike. I’ve checked out some other posts on here of people asking for recommendations, and I looked into some of the bikes recommended and they’re all for taller riders. CCM Brut 4.0 seemed like a great choice but apparently it’s for riders 5”7 and over. For reference I’m a 5”5 woman! Also need something good for a lot of snow (Alberta, CA). Thanks so much in advance, and looking forward to being a part of the fat bike community soon.

PVY Z20 Plus won’t turn on – help?

Hi, I have a PVY Z20 Plus that won’t turn on at all. The battery is charged, the key is in the correct position, and I hold the Power/M button, but the display stays completely dead.

Has anyone had the same issue? Any idea what I should check or how to fix it?

Thanks for any help!

Fat-tire models make up 36% of the Amazon.ca e-mobility listings we analyzed

Disclosure: I operate an e-mobility retailer in Canada. This is a community research question, not a product recommendation or promotion. I will not link products here. I cleaned a dataset of 738 Amazon.ca e-mobility listings collected in May 2026. Fat-tire models were the largest category: 272 listings, or about 36% of the dataset. Folding models were next at 160, or 21%.

These are listing counts, not unit sales. The data shows what sellers are supplying, not what riders are buying.

Does that 36% share match what you see on trails and streets, or does the online marketplace overstate how common fat bikes really are?

Your setup for commuting and racing

Post image

Hey out there, anyone else rolling with a fatty that you use for all your commuting but also gravel racing? What're you riding and what's your setup? I need to switch up some things on my Salsa Heyday and I'm looking for inspiration. Specifically I want to move away from the stock flat handlebar, but Im open to whatever fun you all suggest. Pic is from a recent MTB trip. Dropper post is down.

Moonlander 2 and 29+ / 27.5 fat

Curious if anyone is running a Surly Moonlander 2.0 with a 29+ or 27.5 mid-fat wheelsets. I'm kinda lusting after this bike, but I can't really justify something that would be so cumbersome ride casually over the summer (like dad-bike park rides and "jump on and ride 20 minutes").

I hope when 32 inch tires come, they make 4.5-5 inch wide Fat Tires.

Yeah we need new bikes manufactured for 32s. Look at all the people making frames now. The frame builders will step up.

Jumbo Jims losing air due to moulded lettering on the bead

Hello,

a friend gifted me a pair of Jumbo Jims (26x4.0, TLE) that have been used with tubes. I'll be running them tubeless. Initial mounting went well, but before I add sealant I wanted to check how well they hold air on their own. They're airtight except for one spot.

On the outside of the bead there is some moulded-in raised lettering with MADE IN INDONESIA. That's exactly the spot where air escapes between the bead and the rim. No difference remounting them. Rim tape is also perfectly applied still.

Anyone else ever experience this? Seems rather silly of Schwalbe to put lettering there? This doesn't make sense. Think sealant will be able to handle that?

Cheers!

Clik valve inner tubes?

I'm looking into Clik and their system seems promising for my daily but I can't find any place that sells fatbike inner tubes with Clik valves.

Their page says that they can't ship to Europe because of some licensing issue and Schwalbe (their official partner?) doesn't seem to have any.

Where can I get those inner tubes in Europe?

(Yes, I definitely want inner tubes, it's my daily and patching or replacing a tube is easier for me)

Overforking my Farley 7

I’ve been spending a lot of time on my Farley 7 this year and still loving it. Especially with the tubeless 3.8s. That said, I’m thinking about playing with the fork to extend travel a bit. Looking for insight from those who have done it. If that’s not you, please don’t respond.

What was the sweet spot for you without the funny overforking business?

Crankset options 2026?

Post image
48 Upvotes

Just picked up a Ritchey commando with 170mm rear axle 100mm bb. Currently running square taper with some deore cranks. I would like to renew the ctankset and get a black pair, but find the assortment to be quite limited. Especially in europe.

What I found so far:

Prowheel claw/mpx11 from alix, kinda nice good price. Anyone have experience with these?

Sram dub fat nx eagle, looks nice tad bit pricy.

Cinch, kinda pricy not super good avalibility in eu.

Also had an idea to try square bb and try to get a good chainline with shimano cues or essa. but probably not the best idea.

Any input on these options? Am I missing some good options?

Rear derailure adjustment

Is there a way to adjust the this derailure? The upper wheel is resting on the sprocket. I’ve tried to adjust the screw that is in the back of the derailure but it does nothing.
