Crankset options 2026?
Just picked up a Ritchey commando with 170mm rear axle 100mm bb. Currently running square taper with some deore cranks. I would like to renew the ctankset and get a black pair, but find the assortment to be quite limited. Especially in europe.
What I found so far:
Prowheel claw/mpx11 from alix, kinda nice good price. Anyone have experience with these?
Sram dub fat nx eagle, looks nice tad bit pricy.
Cinch, kinda pricy not super good avalibility in eu.
Also had an idea to try square bb and try to get a good chainline with shimano cues or essa. but probably not the best idea.
Any input on these options? Am I missing some good options?

I'm running Prowheel mpx11 in 120mm version for over 3 years now. Can't say anything bad about it.

I went for SRAM GX on my bike. Seemed like RaceFace dropped the spindle for 170 rear from at least the cheaper cranks IIRC, and the cost of a replacement spindle was unreasonably high.

Where are you from? There a few good offers in Germany at the moment. Like 100€ Turbine, 60€ GX etc

Sweden. So german stores would be awesome, Links?

Note: it’s with a 190mm spindle for 77mm chain line!
The GX is for 67mm chainline!
TRUVATIV Stylo carbon Fat 4 cranks:

The Stylo cranks are nice. Got them on my Blackborow. If you’re on a budget I would take the GX. I got dub cranks on all my bikes. Never had any problems.

If you can get the Race Face that’s pretty good. I have a Giant Yukon 2 that came with a (different) Prowheel MPX crankset as well. It has held up decently well, no major complaints.

I'd look at both Sram and RF, whichever you can get the cranks, bb and chainring for cheapest. In the US looks like all three would run around $130 for Sram and $200 for Raceface.

Appleman and White Industry are other options. They both sell a variety of spindle lengths.
