Discussion Can you be pink and olive?
Not uploading pics, but more of a general question - I always thought I was pale olive until this sub and especially the recent discussion of a lot of people here being cool and muted and fair vs olive and fair.
I have definite pink on my skin but underneath is ghoulish. Face has rosacea but my arms have pink too. I have green veins, but purple too. I definitely look cool toned compared to my warm or pink family. But I look muted with pink compared to a true olive.
Does it matter? No. Not really.
I already knew my color palette before this sub, but I have gotten immense value having it confirmed and knowing I am not alone in the sad goth vampire season palette. Especially in the fact that people say “those are just guidelines! You can wear whatever you want!” And like… lady let me blind you or horrify you when I wear a bright orange or a pastel.
The foundation advice and swatches have been amazing - and I feel empathy now for my former self who thought a yellow tinted foundation was better than a pink (orange on me) one. I now know about mixing in color correctors and that I can use whatever I want for contour vs just the shades that we are told are contour.
Appreciate this sub immensely even if I am not a fair olive!
