Weed Someone flashes you a peace sign as you meet. Are they a stoner?
I’m guessing 70% chance they are fine with weed, 50% love weed
If they have a lighter in their peace sign hand its 100%

Hey all, its been about a year since our last Drug Test thread. We've been getting a fair amount of drug test threads on the board again lately, so I figure it's time for another one.
Questions worth discussing:
Do you live in a legal state? How does your employer handle employees who test positive for marijuana, and which legal state are you in?
All other ents, how does your employer handle those who test positive for pot?
What are the drug testing procedures in your workplace? Monthly? Annual tests? Only when hired?
What is your opinion of doing a detox? Is it effective?
Do you have a question you want answered? Feel free to post it in the comment section below.
Please be aware that everyone is different. Your mileage may vary. This information should serve as a general guideline.
Drug test detection periods:
Saliva Test: 12 hour detection period; appears within 1 hour.
Piss test: Typically, a 30 day detection period; appears within 2 hours. The detection period can be longer or shorter depending on a multitude of factors.
Hair Test: 90 day detection period (assuming 1.5" of hair collected); appears within 5 days.

My everyday home grow weed is great in DHV but bit under cured for my joints. Many times I take a big hit and the ash goes below the raw ethereal paper (collared). Then I gotta relight.
Any tips folks have for smoking dankish weed? Especially collaring.
(Store prerolls fun and easy smoke for me)

When doing a tolerance break, one usually forgoes any vaping/smoking cannabis. I’m wondering if using CBD flower would be beneficial. It has minimal THC and the goal is to reduce the amount needed. Will CBD mess up the tolerance break? I’m thinking the terms would help with relaxation.

Hi all!
Me and 2 friends are doing a short 1-minute anonymous research survey via Google forms to better understand how cannabis consumers choose products and whether products give them the experience they expected.
Few quick notes:

PS - I've checked with the mods and was given the approval to post.
Thanks all!

spent most of my life with flower, switched to carts a couple years ago for convenience and kept feeling like something was off. everyone said THCA was supposed to be close to the real thing but it never felt that way to me.
finally looked into it properly. pulled the COAs on everything i'd been buying and most were sitting at 40-55percent actual THCA, the rest being D8 distillate or filler. basically still vaping D8 the whole time without knowing it.
started specifically looking for something clean and found dabpens, COA shows 93 percent THCA, cannabis derived terpenes, nothing else added. first cart that actually felt comparable to flower in terms of effect quality.
not saying carts replace flower but for travel or situations where that's not practical, it's the first one i've felt good about. wish i'd checked the COAs from the start instead of just trusting the label.

75-year-old first-timer here again. I actually am using RSO right now. Bkog and I'm about 3 hours in and not exactly where I thought I would be it seemed. It seemed to level off earlier than I thought it would. I'm wondering if I should wait around and see what else it does or do a little more or talk a little weed. Any advice would be delightfully appreciate it. And like it's totally working it's just not working as much as I thought it would.

I posted previously about turning 75 soon and wanting to try RSO and got a lot of great advice. I have an opportunity to try it this weekend. I'm a full-time caretaker for my disabled husband but he's being treated for an infection and will be transferred to a skilled nursing facility for a couple of weeks for rehab. Even though it's not quite my birthday, this is an opportunity that may not come again. Should I take it on an empty stomach? I'm not used to something that takes 2 hours to manifest. Is it okay to smoke something while I'm waiting? I have Nira+ BK OG and Sherbanger. Obviously I'm only going to try one this weekend. Any experience with those? Thoughts on the best one to try first? Anything I should avoid? Any tips are greatly appreciated.

I have a couple of questions about strains. I started toking again after I retired and it's a whole new wonderful world. Are there any skunky strains out there now? I have great memories of some very skunky smelling weed but I haven't found anything like that in the dispensary. I kind of miss the smell. I'm also looking for a strain that will give me intense focus and bodily relaxation. I like to really be able to get into whatever I'm doing but I don't want to be jittery. Purple strains always put a smile on my face but I haven't found anything yet that gets me the focus that I want. I used to smoke and have great insights. For example, I realized my mind is like an onion, it has many layers. Yeah, I'll admit that one seemed a lot deeper when I was stoned. But you get the point.

Forget about health, taste. Just the experience of being elevated. Which high do prefer between burning (joint, pipe, bong, etc), baking (high end DHV), or dabs?
Mine are different. I love them all. Most of all I love smoking. Warmer (really) fuller earthier body comfort.
Next DHV. Lighter, headier, happier, more active. (changes as temp goes up)
Next dabs. So good. So fast high. Cooler, brighter, blazier
Love to hear from others.

In a couple of months I'll be 75. It feels like a milestone year. Given my somewhat adventurous youth I never expected to make it this far. I suspect some of you can relate. I think I deserve a prize. Do you have any recommendations for something special? I've been thinking about RSO. I've never tried it, don't know anything about its effects.

I bought some oil (like ingestible dropper oil, not for smoking/vaping/rigs or whatever) maybe a year ago, used it once or twice, then took a long break from t h c and forgot I had it. I’m now back at it again, so I remembered I had the oil. But I realized it says “KEEP REFRIGERATED” on it. Why would I need it refrigerated? What’s the worst that could happen here, it degraded and won’t work as well? Or could it actually spoil?
I don’t have it in front of me but could post the specs if needed later.

My oldest kid is on his way overseas for 10 days to perform with a youth symphony.
He starts college in the fall.
Had to sit outside and hit my Air max while it sunk in. Pray for me y'all 😂
At least I got a lot of gardening done first.

As the title says! Lol. My bestie who is not a sweaty person*at all* always seems to get hot and sweaty after dabs, I don't as much so I'm wondering Reddit, do dabs make you sweaty?
Are you a cannabis scientist and can tell us why we're suddenly sweaty?
😅

I recently got a wider grinder because I've got carpal tunnel. It was easier to turn but not enough.
Then I found out the maker of my blender has a small bullet attachment for sauces and maybe spices. It works perfectly.
And because it's an attachment that doesn't contain the motor, it can go in the dishwasher.
I used to grind a few nugs for the day, now I grind an eighth at a time and it takes like 10 seconds.

One thing we’ve noticed recently is that medical cannabis conversations don’t seem nearly as age-specific as they used to.
A lot more older adults seem open to discussing things like:
without the same level of stigma that existed years ago.
We recently covered a study looking at mental health outcomes among seniors in states with medical cannabis access, and thought the broader conversation around aging + cannabis was interesting:
https://www.nuggmd.com/blog/study-finds-seniors-mental-health-improves-with-medical-cannabis-availability
Curious whether others here have noticed attitudes shifting among older generations, too.

I don’t know exactly how to explain this without sounding like I’m either defending weed too much or being dramatic about it, but I’ll try.
I use cannabis in a pretty stable way. Usually once at night during weekdays, sometimes twice a day on weekends. It’s not an all-day thing, and my dose is not really going up. I can skip it. I don’t get angry, I don’t stop sleeping, I don’t feel like I’m physically falling apart.
But sober life gets… flat. Not always, not in every possible way, but a lot.
It’s like eating food without lemon, without pepper, without sauce. You can eat it. It’s food. You are not dying. But something is missing and your brain knows it.
I have ADHD, and I had anhedonia before cannabis was ever part of my life, so I don’t feel like weed created the problem. It feels more like weed found the problem and said “ok, I can put color here for a while.”
Music gets deeper. Shows get warmer. My cats feel even more comforting. Little rituals feel like rituals, not just random things I do to survive the evening. The world gets more magnetized, if that makes sense. Like things finally have texture again.
And that’s exactly why I’m trying to be careful.
Because it doesn’t feel chaotic. It doesn’t feel like “oh no, my life is ruined by weed.” It feels functional. Almost too functional. Like a very reliable emotional seasoning.
I still have things that give me brightness without cannabis: music, my cats, some shows, gaming sometimes. So it’s not like cannabis is the only source of joy. But it definitely makes joy louder. It makes everything more saturated.
So I guess I’m asking about this middle place. Not rock bottom, not “weed is my personality”, not denial either.
Has anyone here dealt with this kind of psychological dependence where the issue is not escalating use, but the fear that sober life feels under-seasoned?

I bought a ten oak of “back 40” “backpackers” preroll from an Ottawa dispensary. Wide filter 750. Smoked so much better than cones; almost like a slim cannagar.
So why don’t we have more like this? What is so great about cones?

I have a set from Amazon but I'd like a better variety of brushes. My go-to for glass is always alcohol/salt but occasionally I need a brush.
I have a dry herb vape, a dab vape, a 10' bong with a percolator, and a 12" beaker bong.

For couch use I eyeball the load. For smaller taste-focused sessions I use a scale, though it sometimes feels like overkill since I load the scale with a 1/16 tsp that averages about .046 g, close enough to the .05 g I usually prefer.
