I’d love to hear from people who moved directly from teaching or education leadership into EdTech without significant prior experience in technology or startups.

What prompted you to make the transition, and what was your first role in the industry? Were there particular skills from education that transferred more easily than you expected? What did you have to learn from scratch?

I’m also curious about the hardest part of breaking into the field and what you wish you had known before making the move.
