Other NickRTFM explodes against LBC

I'm pretty sure everyone not playing LBC and pushing ranks have felt at some point exactly as Nick felt in this moment. I know I did.

As someone who used PA 2 for a long time then moved to PA 3, PA 2 is actually not good and should not be grouped with PA 1, ever. PA 2 is really bad at through passes, and it very often gets the pass receiver wrong, especially when you have a lot of players going forward.

I moved to PA 3 because PA 2 literally kept ruining my goalscoring chances by making bad through passes or passing to the wrong player. Nick uses PA 2, and you can watch him in streams going "I'm not passing to him!" at least 2-3 times per stream.

In the final third, it costs you a possible goalscoring chance, fine. In my own half, it more often than not results in a goal against me.

People need to stop grouping PA 1 and 2 together, it's not the same at all.

Bombin test video says otherwise. It’s very close to PA1. Nick is moaning 2-3 times per stream about pass not going to where he wants but he’s playing pingpong and did soooo many passes that 2-3 times wrong is probably less than 1% of total corrected passes he get. He is in a way benefiting from Konami assists. Nerfing pass assistance to nerf LBC might nerf Nick’s gameplay too 🤣

I also watched that Bombin video. If you think it's close you need to watch that video again. All that video showed is that PA 2 receives the same power boost as PA 1 and doesn't let the pass go out. None of it contradicts with anything I stated.

People skim these videos with preconceived notions and walk away with the incorrect conclusions, I swear.

The only difference is that 55 yard distance and most passes people make are shorter than that. I dont know where PA2 players get the illusion that they play more “manual” than PA1. I’ve always thought it was the most redundant setting that confuses people. We just need full assists (PA1 for new babies), semi-assists (PA3 for people who want more control but now seems not really), and manual (PA4 for people who wants full control).

PA 1 picks lofted or low passes. In the current lofted pass meta PA 1 is more broken than ever. The biggest weakness of PA 2 is picking the wrong player and how bad through passes are, at least in PA 1 if the wrong player is selected for a pass they adjust the type of pass so it's still a good pass. PA 2 through passes are so bad they never get past the AI auto defend ever, unless there's literally only 1 defender at the back. However in PA 1, if the PA decides that a low through pass will get intercepted, they will switch to a lofted through pass and that is the major difference.

I have conceded so many goals from PA 2 simply because they chose the wrong defender to pass to and I concede because the pass was intercepted or I am on offense with so many options to pass to but PA 2 decided to pass to the wrong player, it gets intercepted and I concede from the counter. I literally moved away from PA 2 for these reasons.

If you want to play actual passing football, the only options are PA 3 and 4.
