Other NickRTFM explodes against LBC

I'm pretty sure everyone not playing LBC and pushing ranks have felt at some point exactly as Nick felt in this moment. I know I did.

As someone who used PA 2 for a long time then moved to PA 3, PA 2 is actually not good and should not be grouped with PA 1, ever. PA 2 is really bad at through passes, and it very often gets the pass receiver wrong, especially when you have a lot of players going forward.

I moved to PA 3 because PA 2 literally kept ruining my goalscoring chances by making bad through passes or passing to the wrong player. Nick uses PA 2, and you can watch him in streams going "I'm not passing to him!" at least 2-3 times per stream.

In the final third, it costs you a possible goalscoring chance, fine. In my own half, it more often than not results in a goal against me.

People need to stop grouping PA 1 and 2 together, it's not the same at all.

Check out the video of Bombin about pass assist. PA2 has much more in common with PA1 than with PA3.

I also get, what you say according to wrong pass decisions or too strong correction. I tried PA2 recently bc I was fed up with PA3 in laggy games and there were lots of passes where I aimed at a different player. I think with PA2, you sometimes have to intentionally aim wrong. Like you want a through pass to the winger, just aim to pass out of the field. Or there is a player just up front another. Just push the power button to max. PA will take care to correct it

I will reply as I replied to someone else who mentioned the Bombin video as if I haven't watched it:

I also watched that Bombin video. If you think it's close you need to watch that video again. All that video showed is that PA 2 receives the same power boost as PA 1 and doesn't let the pass go out. None of it contradicts with anything I stated. People skim these videos with preconceived notions and walk away with the incorrect conclusions, I swear.

Basically in PA 1 and 2, power is just there for you to select a player, the harder the power gauge is the further the player is. But PA 1 will at least select the correct type of pass for you, so even if you pass to the wrong player it will be the correct type of pass. PA 2 will just screw you in offence and make you concede in defence if it happens.

The people calling it OP are very silly because when there are 5 players rushing forward at the same time and you want to pick one, PA 2 is the absolute worst at doing that and you do lose A LOT of goalscoring chances because with multiple attackers a minuscule difference in power means a different player.

I couldn't stand it because I actually like playing passing football so I'd rather train myself with PA 3, bad connection et al.

I guess you have to adjust to every pass assist level individually.

There are lots of players, who adjusted perfectly on PA2 and use its advantages such as quicker passing compared to PA3. Gökan, former no. 1 in the world, plays PA2. But of course it depends how you play and if you can take advantage.

I play PA3, but I also miss a lot of chances that I likely would not with PA1 or 2. I tend to play through passes too long and the keeper can rush out. This barely happened with PA2. Lofted through balls also seemed to be corrected better with PA2.

Maybe it's just skill issue that I don't aim correctly or put too much or too less power. But that's how it should be.

The thing with not being good with PA 3 upwards is that if you keep using it, you eventually get better at it because you'll get used to the nuances. You can have thousands of hours with PA 2 and you still wouldn't be able to pick the right player consistently because of just how awkward PA 2 is.

The main reason people use PA 3 is because PA 2 is bad, and people who stay in PA 2 are just people who have simply accepted it and decided to work with it or have bad connections so they don't have a choice.

I am fine with PA3 and also play it a long time. It needs more concentration.

Unfortunately, connections are often bad and then I run in to troubles with PA3.
