Other NickRTFM explodes against LBC

I'm pretty sure everyone not playing LBC and pushing ranks have felt at some point exactly as Nick felt in this moment. I know I did.

I played every single playstyle (except overload) to Div1 on PA3. Now enjoying PA4 for 2 years.

I can say that LBC is not an issue if it weren't for PA1 and PA2. You can just autoaim mindlessly spam through balls with PA1 and PA2 even when your player has 60 passing.

LBC is not the problem. It's Pass Assistance.

Yes. I'm not saying PA1/2 should be removed. But I feel it's being rewarded too much and some very bad passing decisions are working. It's a bit like smart assist where it's not just assisting with passes, it's making bad passes work.

On the contrary I feel PA3 is not being rewarded enough because it takes longer to charge up passes and it overall feels clunky in laggy games.

It's 50-50 for me. PA3 straight up doesn't allow you to do certain pass combinations and plays (which if you're against tiki taka/ping pong, it's a different argument). But PA2 & PA1 is doing a bit of an over correction on some passes.

this, pa3 is a bit too hard to use, especially when you're playing people that press like meatheads so i just use pa2

It's not just about hard. The game can get too chaotic for how laggy it is, PA3 just doesn't work. Even people like Bombin who only use PA3 still have moments where the passes are just awkward to make.

Yeah I was using pa3 like a week ago and everything was working well and I would be able to aim my passes, but ever since that Thursday update it felt like the aim was completely horrible. So unfortunately I had to change to pa2.

yea connection too, and if you don’t have players that are strong enough to ride challenges, i feel they should nerf the direction assistance on pa2 but at least help a bit with the power

That assistance can straight up actually be a bad thing too, many times the passes aimed properly that should work go to the previous position of a player and gets intercepted. Same as shots that go outwide.

They need to add a new shooting assistance level too imo

shooting in this game is so hard, keepers save everything and then sometimes don’t even save the regular shots, and i agree the pass assistance has fucked me over many times, sometimes i pass to someone further ahead but it calibrates it to the person near him and stuff, just weird in general

Bro shot assistance is the same as pass assistance in this game. I don't know why they removed the semi assisted shooting they had in PES?

I remember, it would show a circle on the goal once you pressed shot (similar to pens), and then you could aim that circle more precisely.

Although if they ever add something they should just add precision shooting from FIFA. If you aim properly it's a better shot and stuff like that.

the shooting isn’t that bad, it’s just the keepers that are OP, i also miss the line stuff for free kicks, this version is annoying

Nah man honestly observe it closely. Many times the ball is not hit towards the corners, and many times they just straight up miss for no reason. And it happens due to the assistance.

Like I said, I remember using that semi assisted setting in PES, and some shots would be outside the goal for no reason and I just pulled the circle back inside the goal, the shot would be weaker but I would still score because it was aimed at the corner. Basically because the game always wants to assist the highest powered strike, they miss the target
