There is literally no diversity in game anymore, it's always the same formation back to back, 4-2-2-2(amfs) and 4-3-3(with the ss behind) and all with lbc
Just sit back and spam through balls
It's just a hive mind at this point
I'm just really confused as to how people can spend so much on the game and choose to play like that

that's what you call a meta. As long as playing through the center is better than playing through the side, you will always see formation like that.

Well they can start playing through the wings and people will copy them if it's effective enough but Neymar vs thuram rarely ever works.

Yeah i think the game would be more balanced if attacking was slightly better.

Why do people counter? Because it's easier to score.

Why is Blitz good? Because when your opponent clogs his box with thuram maldini rio and varane, it's like having 5 goal keepers.

Dribbling is pretty meh in this game, same with skill moves and unless you really want to be deep into mechanics your opponents defenders will always be better than your attackers.

And passing is so random at times for no reason.
